I agree ! Plus, If you wanted to make a kit car, why in the hell did he put those rims on it. A Countach wouldn't have 20" and 22" rims. It's like he's trying to make a really $hitty. It's like a Fiero, a Countach, and a freakin' Escalade had a horrible three way and this was the offspring. Or just the horrible brain child of a simpleton from Iowa...

I agree and always loved all-original Fieros...

While they may never attain any high monetary values their day will certainly come :)

Not mine but I'd like to find one just like it:

Quite the opposite from a longterm ex-owner (87 GT). It was one of the most enjoyable daily-drivers that I've ever owned.

I'm glad that your experience has been different. Mine was one of the very early ones and was miserable. My Fiat was more reliable.
I traded it in on a VW in under a year. I drove straight from the Pontiac service dept. to the VW dealer and as I pulled out the service manager asked me to call and tell him if they accepted it. Grim.

I hate to break it to you, but that one's a Fiero replica, built on a Yugo. :D

Its kind of a waste to be honest. V8 Archie can't do it right yet he claims he's the only one who can do the conversion.

agree on some of those fiero choptops and widebodies. Some of them look pretty damn good.
The GT in that link above though... looks strange?

Then again, I also sort of like the SWB countach replicas. They remind me of the Tyco H0 scale slotcar version :D Plus they look way better than the VW-based GT40-replicas...

I'd never seen the Fiero "Chop-Tops" before. They do improve the proportions of the car dramatically.

I always thought that some of the Fiero-based 308 replicas looked fairly accurate, with the glaring exception that the car was too tall in proportion to its length.

Why didn't any of the 308 replicas include a "Chop-Top?" Or did they, and I just haven't seen one?

Not that I advocate making Ferrari replicas out of Fieros; I still don't. Considering how nice a Fiero can look with some of the mods that aren't trying to replicate something else, I think that's what should be done to a Fiero if you don't want to leave it original.

I may be wrong, but I believe the red car that I posted was a self-chop.

I have never seen a 308 replica chop. Probably would be very hard to do since the fiberglass
kits were made to fit stock Fieros.

I like the stock Fieros, but if I wanted something custom, I would rather cut up a $500 Fiero
    than a Ferrari!

Well, the engine bay is a joke. The proportions aren't quite right. And it looks just a bit more like a 430 than a 355.

Oh, yes, and it's not a "spider."

Plus, what a bizarre thing they're done, putting a gigantic fake shift gate around the straight stick that controls the automatic transmission.

~$50k will get you a really nice 308, maybe even a decent 328 or 348.

I'd rather have one of those than many other real Ferraris, and certainly I would prefer it to that poser-mobile that might fool a few people for about 30 seconds.

Oh, and one more thing: Are those wheels off a 1969 Lincoln Continental, or what?
