That comment is totally absurd! I have been 185 mph in my Pantera and it was solid as could be! There are Pantera owners who compete in the Silver State Classic at 180+ with no problems as well. Tell me about this Pantera that "flipped over" in Nevada?? Ron
That is one of the best photos I have seen on Ferrarichat in a long time, beautiful Pantera and some great cars in the background
Here's a shot of one driving around during Cavallino weekend in Palm Beach. I'll try and find a couple more, edit, and post. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I remember driving to a Pantera gathering at a Fuddruckers parking lot somewhere around Schaumburg, IL years back. I did NOT, nor have I ever owned a Pantera. I arrived late, and did not feel comfortable popping in to the restaurant to meet up with a bunch of strangers. I DID spend quite some time in the parking lot admiring and photographing some of the beautiful cars that showed up. I remember at least one passerby who asked - "What is so special about these cars?" Without being an owner, I gave them the best rundown of the history and characteristics of the Pantera - I think I did the marque proud, but I think some people still just don't understand...
Another one of the sales guys at my company has one and he drives it pretty often, at least once per week. Very reliable and a great car. Too bad I am too tall to drive one comfortably or I would have one.
For those who don't visit another forum. Here is news on a big movie franchise opening later next week. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just found this thread for some reason. Such great cars, so affordable, fun, growling, menacing, beautiful. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not many in that colour, subtle and has presence. Perfect for envy... For some reason, I like the later bumpers, probably one of the best designs at the time to meet compliance.
Thanks on the color. That's the one I was looking for. One year only. I absolutely TOTALLY agree on the bumpers. Tjaarda actually made the extension of the front bumper an air foil. (Hard to tell in the pic, but there is a gap between bumper and front hood.) Not sure how effective or not, but that was the intention and it completely 'fits' the line of the car.
Well, it is promissed for the LA show (November). Fot those who can't (don't want ) wait, here are spy vids from the factory....... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xspv8vWZDtc[/ame]
Well after some research it looks like Rossignolo has more in common with Alessandro than we originally tought. It apears he may have re-cycled a prototype that Lotus will not use. http://www.egmcartech.com/2007/02/07/spy-shots-2010-lotus-esprit/ http://www.egmcartech.com/2007/09/28/spy-shots-mystery-supercar-is-it-a-lotus-esprit-mclaren-or-noble Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
When the "Esprit" was spy photographed, Lotus said that it is not a future Lotus, but a customer project. IMHO, it´s a good thing that De Tomaso contracted the best chassis engineering company that there is.
I took my Pantera out last weekend for the first time this year!!! Why did I not do it sooner ?? It has a character "all it's own" Image Unavailable, Please Login
