    Gentleman,

Tour Auto was the most intense motorsports event I have ever participated in

It is already pretty intense in a comfy saloon so I can't imagine how hard it is in a vintage race car.

Congrats for your driving in the Daytona, it didn't sounded like the smoothest car to drive hard.

That was Mark Donaldson testing the car before Tour Auto 2011.
Raised the ride height about on inch all around for the event.
Figured out tire pressures, shock settings
    Full 8 hours testing
Tires (2 set), wheels ( 2 sets). brakes, brake pad compounds, wheel nuts, suspension tuning, shocks, springs, fuel cell, transaxle, seats, seat belts, fire system, skid plate, safety gear etc....... Fully FIA

    Again to repeat,
NOT for the faint of heart or the weak walleted individuals.

    :)

2 sets of tires? A lot less than the 80 sets we go through over 3 days of testing.

Vintage testing is a lot more reasonable.

I agree Tom, even in the regularity section which my wife and I did in our dino it was a tough event.....particulalry of you drive back from Biarritz to Lonond in a day.

Good to meet you at last - superb car, great to see them really being used.

    Grea!

But please correct the caption for the Maserati-photo: it doesn`t show an A6GCS! Its an A6G-2000 Zagato, Chassis #2106.

But OK, as a Ferrari-man you do not know this...::))

    Ciao!

With the designation 'O' would this make it one of the course/organisers cars.
It has happened in various other events where a driver is not up to the expectation of the car he/she is driving.

I think it is 2107. After having been with Neil Kirkham in Calfiornia for 17 years, it was sold to a new owner in California last year and then to its current owner in Chicago. It was first sold to Maserati France and shown at the Paris Salon in 1955.
