    What is the best site or way for trying to locate a long lost 'best friend' from highschool? She is married now and last time I searched I found a name (it was hyphenated) that could have been her and where she lived (did not save any info though). She was my bestest friend for many many years but you know how easily it is too loose touch.

    Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

    Are you still in touch with anyone from high school? Mine those contacts for all they're worth, maybe one of them knows something. Your friends, her friends, everyone. Also, don't be afraid to ask for help from the parents and siblings of your friends.....you never know. For that matter, did she have any siblings for whom you could look?

    Do you remember her parents' names? Perhaps google, facebook or LinkedIn them?

    Perhaps contact the current owners of the house she used to live in....it's a long shot, but most things will be.

    Did she attend church? Possibly still on a mailing list.

    That's all I have for now. I'd be more inclined to rely on people than on technology.

    Facebook would be your best bet.

    I have started with Facebook as I found a forum for our graduating class so I posted there. Unfortunately I am not intouch with anyone from highschool.
