    Hi Ferarristas!

My deposit is in and Ill be getting my 458 around January as a 2012 model

Exterior will be rosso corsa. My first Ferrari so it has to be red...

So many interior choices and I like the 2 tone option. Plenty to chose from!

One that I like are several combinations with crema perhaps even sabbia.

I know crema is harder to keep clean I can live with that but I want to make sure the color is not going to wear off that quickly or make me bore too soon.

Any crema owners in here I would appreciate your comments.

I ilke to stay away from tan beige as much as possible (although beautiful colors) like something more unique yet sportier and elegant.

My other choice is two tone black red but that's another story. That's plan B.

    Thanks!

    Coco

CAS has a 430 in rossa w crema interior. I have to admit I find it very "classy" and a step up from the Red/Tan combo.... Plenty of pics on the web site and I have been in the car personally and the interior shows no real signs of wear...

    Tony......................

I suggest you consider a tan/black two tone int. Goes beautifully with Rossa corsa ext.
Have it on my 458 and get lots of pos feedback.

Second example of Crema with Nero is much prettier than the first one. Having three colors on the inside is just a bit too much, especially when they differ very much of each other.

Must say that the tan option is much more too my liking. This is very "white".

Would love to see an Italia with bordeaux leather with rosso alcantara pieces in between. That must look sensational.

Lots of UK Ferraris have Rosso/Crema and it looks very common-place here in UK. I really like the Giallo and black with yellow stitching.

    Perfect combo:

    Bianco Avus with Black/Grey rims
Rosso leather interior with white stitching and full carbon with the sport seats.

I think crema looks good. Leather can be cleaned as long as you don't do anything severe so I wouldn't worry about it.

Just love the sports seats in that colour. They look fantastic. If I were ordering now I'd be very tempted to go that way.

I have crema interior on my mediterranean blue 458. Love the looks of the combination. But I have no doubt crema is more vulnerable to the elements than, say, black. For example, I was warned that dark dye in, say, black or blue pants may come off on the seats. And so it happened on the drivers side wing of the seat as my butt contacts with the leather on sliding into the seat. I now have a 1.5 inch black line that seems to have permeated the crema and have only been able to dull it, using a leather wax as a cleaner. I'm now looking for some kind of touch up to restor the stain to crema. With this in mind, I now sit on a thin pad on the drivers side to prevent any staining, again from pant dye, on the seat. I think the same would happen to sabia, but never to black leather. I have no knowledge of discoloration due to sunlight or aging but don't worry about that too much as its a coupe. Anyways, TLC is required.

Are you looking at Crema or Sabbia? My dad has Sabbia in his F430 and it looks as good as new when we got it April 2009. (weekend car keep in mind)

I love the Sabbia/Crema look in Ferrari. Go for it!

Thanks for all your comments. I still have 3 months (or possibly more) to go to finalize specs. This is fun ! (not the wait)

If taken care of Crema will still look good after many years. Below is a photo of my 22 year old 1989 328GTS which is Rosso Corsa with 2 tone Crema & Rosso interior. The interior is all original and has been regularly cared for with leather conditioner. You will note that the lighting does affect how dark the carpet or even the crema leather appear. The first photo is with natural sunlight, the last photo is in a garage with limited light, but it gives you and idea of the condition of the leather if taken care of.
    Best regards,
    Dino

Wow, Dino, 22 years and still in that condition. And especially as it's the light stuff. It's hard to tell that the driver's seat has even been sat in. Well done, that's to be proud of.

Thanks for the kind words. I will admit, if I wear jeans or dark pants I do have a set of seat covers that I use. I once saw a white on white Lamborghini that was being detailed, and the owner had been wearing dark jeans and the color blue transfered to the drivers seat. The detailer managed to get most of the color blue off of the white seat, but it wasn't easy.

Good luck choosing your interior colors.
    Best regards,
    Dino

P.S. I love my Crema and Rosso interior and don't have any regrets about that color choice.

i do have a black 458 with crema interior. if it's dirty, i suppose you would like to spot it. no problem maintaining it, and it still look brand new after 6 months. when i wear raw dark denim, i do have a set of seat cover. i will post photos when i get a chance.
