The Nurburgring Nordschleife is a different track then La Sarthe in Le Mans. Also completely different raceseries.

    Jim,

Your P4/5 will not meet current (2011) ACO GT2 rules-and, as of now, 2012 ACO rules-what class would you run in??

    GTE?

Hello and thankyou, thats why I love to come in here as I enjoy motor sports, Im not sure of the different classes and rules involved. I always thought you ran at Sebring, Ring as tuneups for the ultimate LeMans with basicly the same car though different set-ups. Todays cars are so specialized and even though some look alike they can be intirely different classes. I miss the GT40s going against a 917k and 512s, I know Im still confused, as I cant get into the P-cars that run at 24hr Daytona they look aweful with no graceful flowing lines just a big bubble. Thats whats so wonderful about Jim P4/5 his car looks like a race car going fast in the garage. Has that nostalgic feel and yet so sexy shape that makes men become boys just after their first date. His car needs to be at Lemans, on the other hand Lemans needs the P4/5. Thanks Norm

The odds are long but we are talking to Le Mans and Daytona.

In a perfect world we will run Sebring, Daytona, Spa, Le Mans and the Nurburgring next year.

While we don't fit into a class they could equalize us and one thing I know in my heart the fans would Love it if we did. I'm not sure that will be enough to make it happen but we've come a long way and had a lot of fun so either way I'm grateful and happy.

Coming off of a 6 Hour race at The Ring on May 14Th and appearing at Villa d'Este the next weekend will be pretty cool as well.

No racing for me that weekend, so is there anywhere it's showing on the web? Just figured out how to use my 60" as a monitor. Be nice to have someone specifically to root for! Best of Luck!

    Jim,

It will be interesting to see how you get along with the ACO. They are an "unusual bunch".

Biggest issue will be lack of "production volume" for the P4/5. ACO is very touchy about GT2 cars being production cars-at least of some sort. (AKA Panoz/Spyker)

A real shame-as the P4/5 would be just about the coolest car on the track at LeMans, and would be a huge crowd favorite. Porsche and Corvette (and Ferrari) would have a cow and yell bloody murder, however. I can just imagine what Luigi Dindo would be saying to Perdrix, et al at the ACO if he found out your car was running! It would be worth it just to watch his head explode!! (LOL)

Best of luck at the Ring!

Now there's a thought to help qualify your car- a limited production run of the P4/5 "P/F430" sports car.

When do you start taking orders?
