I have spotted a couple in Paphos, most common was the red 599 outside Pingunio (Sp) Cafe...

Some nice highways to stretch the legs...

    That's very impressive.

How long is the driving season in Cyprus? Do you get any snow at all?

Okey, thanks, then your driving season isn't much different from Northern Europe.
    Your 360 looks great!

    Happy motoring.

How is the Ferrari infastructure in Cyprus? Are all sales and aftersales situations dealt with in Turkey? I know there is alot of wealth on Cyprus, indeed I know two seperate persons who are bout in the furniture business who are more than comfortable, but that is a lot of Ferrari's per head!

I really enjoy the Med/Agean sea coasts and islands, often considering a holiday home somewhere but we currently stick to southern Spain due to the ease of having a car there.

CYPRUS was and IS a GREEK island (story goes back at least 3,000 years..). After Turkey invaded Cyprus in 1974, 37% of the island (Northern part) is occupied...but no other country except Turkey recognized the so called "Turkish republic of Northern Cyprus".

So, according to the UNITED NATIONS, Turkey ILLEGALLY invaded another country in 1974 and since then, occupies the northern part of the island. Suffice to say that 200,000 people lost their homes and became refugees in their own country, tens of thousands were killed and around 1700 are missing in action since then.

No, we do NOT deal with Turkey.

    George,

I try to appreciate the history, political and personal issues that still underline life in Cyprus, in fact my wife's best friend is Greek Cypriot and her partner is one businessman who is participating in a scheme to actively work with the Turkish side of the island and the people, to forge a long term relationship. Whether you support this program or not (I guess not) I am sure you are aware of this... latest attempt. As interested in this subject as I am, my question was more a logistically based one, perhaps I should have tread more carefully.
I hope you can live peacefully and long with the Island as it is, as so long as I can see (albeit in my limited knowledge of the true situation) I do not believe there will be a resolution any time soon. My comment was not to offend, but purely to understand the infrastructure, I asked about Turkey as logistically it would seem the easiest, but I asked as your knowledge is obviously far superior to mine in this field, I would like to learn how the cars are ordered, sold, serviced and maintained.

    Regards

    Mike James

    Mike,

Ferraris in Cyprus are ordered from the UK (as cars here are RHD). They are serviced either at MOTOTREND (official dealer of Maserati and authorized Ferrari After Sales Service) or at PLATINUM SuperCars (two Ferrari trained technicians). A few owners ship their cars over to Greece for service and others pay UK based technicians to carry out any necessary work, in Cyprus.
