    Hi all:

I am missing my passanger windshield wiper and blade. I understand these are difficult to find.

Does anyone have a source for these?
    Any idea what they cost?

    Thanks.

    Re-originals has them.

Just remember to order the very large, approximately 18 inch blade size Arman. For whatever reason, people on eBay are selling smaller 14 and 15 inch size blades for Daytonas. That is incorrect. Some people put the smaller 15 inch blades on the cars because they look better.

And, if your car is a USA car, the blades and arms should be black (if you want to show a car), Euro cars are silver/unpainted.

Matt (re-originals) delivered the WRONG wipers to my friend well over a year ago for a daytona, and was NEVER able to supply the correct wiper arms.

Has he gotten the correct ones since then? I have my doubts. Be careful!

    Tom,

Matt didn't realize which ones were correct. I explained to him how to tell and he sent me about a dozen sets to sample. I replied back to him which ones were correct. The ones I kept were, without question, the correct Arman arms and wiper blades for a Daytona.

What I can't tell you is if he has them in stock at this moment.

Are both wiper blades supposed to be the same size? On my '71, the driver's side is about 19", the passenger is about 16".
    Thanks

Arms (left and right) about 16.5" each, blades slightly under 19" each.

Another issue is whether or not your car is a Euro version or not. The correct arm for a Euro is slightly lower profile than a U.S. There is not enough clearance for a U.S.-version wiper arm to clear the hood on a Euro (at least on an early Euro car). If your car is a Euro, send me a PM and I will give you a contact for the party from whom I bought my wiper arms.

Mine's a US car. Any idea why I have different lengths? They are both the correct black Arman blades and arms.
    Thanks again for the help.

Wouldn't that be great if re-originals did this sort of investigation before sending out the parts? That said there is nothing to careful about in terms of dealing with them as they cheerfully take anything you have a problem with back.

That's about right. I call them 18 inches, but we're probably measuring from a different point. What they are not is the smaller size that you usually see on the cars these days.
