That's the math and I think a GT Diesel would be pretty interesting.

So are you gonna go with a 6 or 8 piston TDI?

It's kinda interesting that the last great endurance racer from Ferrari also run (and won) with a non Ferrari engine: SP333 at Road America powered by Judd IIRC

Hmmm... Judd did a 3.0L V6 motor back in F3000 and they do some mean V8s in BMW M3s and 134s... the 333SP was a V10 of course.

No not Judd. This would be a new engine from a major manufacturer.

nice. one of my favorites! i have a custom shop 60's reissue of that same guitar. i bet its junk in comparison though (but i like it). honestly, i was expecting a "dirk ziff" type collection after seeing your car collection!!

Talk about an investment. I have a friend who has a '64 burst for sale for $19K. And that's a discounted price in light of the market.

They're great sounding (and looking) guitars. $150 new just sounds so ridiculous now.

Are any of the carbon panels load-bearing?

And, not to get too far off topic, but what amp do you like to play through?

    No.

The only one I have from the old days is a tube Ampeg.
