Having just had some rear light lens sets made for my LP400 as i couldnt find any in England i have just watched the video and seen that the Museum car has reflectors. Is this because they have used the later ones which are available or is it because it is a German car?

It is because they were replaced at some point with the 'S' model later tail light lens. The original doesn't have the reflector. It is much easier to get the later lens than the impossible-to-find LP400 lens. Who know why they were replaced? ....originals broken? faded? we will never know! but I imagine they were broken in a minor rear end ding because they (and the thin aluminum around them) are about the first things to hit in any rear impact and just a little bump will crack them.

    Superb !

Still the shot I prefer over all others I've seen till now is signed by Joe.

I don't have it on this computer, but it's also a S1, also red. The photo was taken almost at dusk I think, and it shows white sand heaps on the back behind the car.

It's been my computer's background image for quite a moment...

    It's in this thread somewhere...

That car is 1121086 and has less that 1000 miles on it today. Original tires, hoses, everything, except for braided steel carb fuel lines I put on it because the cloth ones leaked like a fish net, and at the time I did not know where to get the proper ones.

The photo of Joe's car above is fantastic. He should put his new one in that same setting for a shoot.

Just found a link from Goodwood's Supercar breakfast meeting last sunday?
There was this I think Quattrovalvole?
Also there were Bugatti EB110, many great true classic sport's cars and
1996 McLaren F1 GTR chassis number #13R - Road registered.......

I think this is the Quattrovalvole?
Anyone more information of this? :)

if the interior was all white... I just dont feel the two tone despite that maybe it was just being historically correct. Other than that... perfect.

OMG, this is by far the best picture of a Countach, it communicates all the magic of this fabulous timeless design.

    Quintessential.

Joe, do you have this picture in high resolution? I'd love to have one! I have to stop looking at this picture because it gives me an irresistible envy to acquire one, with exactly the coulour combo ...

I posted also six other Countach pictures that I like very much ...

The car looks so sleek, so low, so exotic ...

    OMG ...
