    We are working through sorting out all the electrical issues inside of the car before we move to the major service.

    A burnt out solenoid was found to be the issue that was causing the trunk release not to work.

    My trunk solenoid failed. Original Ferrari part to replace was $1300-1400; sponsor's part was in the range of $700. Found a solenoid switch from the back of a hot rod magazine for about $80 and the problem was fixed.

    Hahahha. I would bet it was not a Ferrari solenoid.

    Would it be possible for you to post a picture "top down" of the wiring in and around the shifter? I took everything apart, and putting it back together has proven difficult... i have some extra stuff, and don't know where it goes...

    Please? I'm in a pickle!!!

    Yeah, Bradan is swamped - he won't take my Mondial #2 until he gets some cars out of the bay. :(

    Ted - you should have done the major a few months ago - would have been done by now.

    I'm sure you can't wait to pick her up - you're going to have a blast driving her home!

    Yea I know but I wanted the 'major' to be fresh when I picked it up considering the clock starts clicking the moment its done plus I wouldn't have known about the GCK from Dave Helms and the supreme kit wasn't available a couple months ago. Sooooo as hard as this anticipation is, its all good. Plus Dan is going to run it awhile to make sure everything is right before I head out on our long journey home

    I hope he throws me a pic or two today to hold me over the weekend. I hear the engine is dropping out today so that will be good to see

    Question? Are you re-setting the timing and adjusting valves or you just lock and swapping when doing a belt service?
