Akon has 2 white Lamborghini Gallardo's with white wheels, a Maserati GranTurismo, and that red Ferrari California. That's all he has in Atlanta I believe.

He's had a Spyker C8 Spider and a white SLR Roadster here at some point too, not sure if they are still here or not though. He really must have an insane collection because I've seen photos of his cars all over the place.

That's the one, it had been parked at the Ruth's Chris/Embassy Suites on Peachtree for a few weeks. I saw the tow truck pulling in when they went to pick up the car but didn't realize they were going to pick up the Lambo...would have made for some fun photos.

I've never seen either at the house, so he may have gotten rid of them, or moved them to another location. Wish I had the spare time to hang around Buckhead and spot these cars.

Hi Andy, It was on Medlock Bridge Rd....you were headed northbound. This area has been real good for me as of late. The only problem is that the traffic is fierce and there are too many traffic signals (turn arounds are impossible). I only had a brief moment to take a shot of your Modena because the cars were bunched up around me . Plus I could not remember if your 360 had Challenge wheels or not. One thing for sure is she sounded amazing!!

Oh man i wish i could have seen that. That is TIV 2 (Tornado Intercept Vehicle). It is used to drive directly into tornadoes to gather information. It is used on the tv show Storm Chasers.

I could be wrong but that armored vehicle looks like the tank made for storm chasing on discovery channel's tv show where the owner is a film maker from california who wants to drive INTO a tornado and he created a vehicle designed for it. Did it have cali plates?

Yes, your right. I later learned that it was in town for a promo for a IMAX film based on the Storm Chaser series.

I happened to be next to this car awhile back (a year or so ago) and I remember seeing the driver and thinking...Damn, that looks just like Allen Iverson. I looked back as he was passing me to see if there was a personalized plate and saw the dealer promo tag. I remember the car and those wheels specifically. I laughed the other day when I heard the car was impounded because he never titled the car. To quote the driver of the Lambo that day "Would you want to pay 10 grand to title a car?" (to the cop).

Hey Carson, Normally in the past, I have consealed the tags on my car pics unless they were personalized or have ''dealer tags" such as your clients. I have attempted to delete the Aston shot from my end however I have no access to remove it from FerrariChat. The editting window is very short on FChat. I will avoid in the future, any shots that show any type of identification. West

Cool, thanks. I sent the link to my customer to see if it was his, and he asked why there was a picture of the tag. I haven't seen the car yet. I haven't seen it yet, he told me the other day that hen just picked one up.

Would someone be kind enough to explain the logic behind blurring license plates? I'm not trolling; I'm genuinely curious. As soon as I leave my garage hundreds, if not thousands, of people can see my license plate. It's not a secret and the likelihood of more people seeing it in real life is greater than the likelihood of it being seen online. Why on earth would anyone bother trying to obscure something that's meant to be clearly displayed?

Maybe I'm just being particularly dense but the explanations offered in that thread don't really seem applicable here, unless it's the moderators who are specifically asking for the blurring to shield Fchat from a certain liability. But even then, that willfully ignores the fact that the internet is a big place -- all pictures of my car taken in public don't necessarily end up here, and the idea of chasing them all down just seems silly. For all I know there might be a ton of shots up on Flickr. Certainly the spectators at a Cars & Coffee event post photos all over the web. The owners of those cars can't begin to have any expectation that their license plates will be obscured. So why does it happen here? Is it just a peculiar sort of gentleman's courtesy that allows each party to bury his head in the sand?
