    Craig,
Interesting find. In the photo you posted, the logo appears etched or burnt in like a brand - can you elaborate?

    Thanks!

No, simply black ink standing proud of the vinyl tubing surface. Thicker in some places.
The stamped logo text remaining on the red vinyl hose is not the same font I show as reference, IMHO, but similar.
Just for fun, here is the id plate for 1966 Fiamm Road Master compressor. 1966 Fiamm products will be found on 1967 automobiles, also some late 1966 autos.
Now we all know what the 1967 Fiamm compressor id plate looks like right? As well as the 68, 69, and so on?
The Road Master trumpets are another story.

The Fiamm horns are usually not a real visable item on a GT350, 400 , 2+2......but on a Miura .....they are right out there.

I only mention this to be sure you understand the hose, in my opinion, is OEM 1966 Fiamm products. Extrapolated use to be at your own risk.

I need a red plastic or even an alloy "Y" piece for this Fiamm tubing. Anybody got one?

Rear ash tray for 400 2+2 loks like a BOM Ferrari piece from same era. Solid wood block forms the base with a simple leather cover, then screwed to tunnel with long sheet metal screws.
These ash trays are very delicate brass forms. It is amazing how well they survive. I believe it is the same as the forward ash tray, only centimeters away. My console is away in storage, so no comparision yet.

I think Jacques IDed the ash tray as:

I've got this one that I bought from Roy. It is the first and only time I saw the logo on the ashtray.

Nice ash tray with Lamborghini logo, i have not seen before. It has a curved bottom surface, so i am not sure what the application would be for Lamborghini. 350?

I am working with MIE wrinkle black today and dont seem to be getting any wrinkle results.
sprayed the water tube and couple small pieces, no wrinkle yet, i will wait.
I am using a SATA Minijet gun conventional spray at 60psi, have other used this gun?

should i tape off the Lamborghini logo on the cam covers or just plan on sanding it off?
    taping is quite tedious
    Cheers

Put it on thick and use heat lamp, oven, hot box or some other source for 120/140F degree heat. Watch out for sag's though, and if it does sag, wipe off and try it again. Wet sand the logo with 240 grit.

I got pretty nice fine wrinkles with 12 hour wait at 70 F. My gun was not set correctly for application as the thin areas of spray remained shiny black and did not wrinkle. I only sprayed a couple of pieces as a test. My thin layer technique produced a very fine wrinkle pattern. All pieces alloy. Glassbead finish. No primer. Bare metal spray. More to come.

Marelli coils look nice, still need rubber stamp for resistor. These are very prominent pieces in a GT400 2+2 engine bay, along with voltage reg, master cyl, fuel filter, water tank, AC dryer, hoses.
And, of course, all engine top details.

Gary, Jacques and all , where can i get a set of these Lamborghini Fiaam air cleaner knobs? Are you producing these?
I realize there are many 8x1,25 substitutes from Ferrari, Maserati and the like. I only want this exact type.

I've spun them out on my lathe before, but, I typically substitute these with the black style later knobs, such as used on Espada's, unless it's for a concours restoration, then aluminum is the only answer. Any competent machine shop can make these. They are not difficult, just time consuming.

    Hi Craig,

Jack was talking about having a bunch made a while back, don't know what happened with that, I'll see if I can dig up the post...

Yes, Feb 2011 Jack was getting some batches made, don't know what happened. Ask him on the VLG??

    Cheers

Thanks Gary, i was hoping you made up a couple hundred of these air cleaner top knobs and were selling sets of six to 350/400/P400 owners.
50% of the vintage Lamborghini I see, do not have the correct ac knobs, OMG!
Kitchen cabinet knobs, 8mm hex bolts, 8mm allen bolts, Fcar knobs, Espada knobs seem to grace quite few.
    Cheers

Thanks Fred, I think this was the set of trunk panel knobs, not the Fiaam filter top knobs.

Sheesh, of COURSE it was, Craig. :(

Well...the air cleaner ones look far more difficult with that curve. But as I recall they are clearly machined....? (or not)

    Helpful answer? ;^D

Bob, You know I get all my supplies there. I did see some translucent red plastic cabinet knobs there to match my fuel lines and spark wires, so maybe.................I dont know yet.
    Might be too dressy.

    It's not CNC...it's just me.

If I were to do it they'd cost like $1000 each! :)
