There's a DUB car show going on in Dallas this Sunday & the 599 GTO might have participated in it. I wasn't much of a fan of it either but they can always be swapped back to the OEM wheels & tires. Like said before, to each his own.
no need to beat those rims to death but....just awful ! Interesting lower sills...not full carbon, not full painted...maybe painted after delivery ?
Jas- You are correct on the sills. I actually like them that way better than the CF extending all the way up in front of the wheel well. Wonder if that is an option or a custom feature? Looks like the car has a bordeaux interior. A 599 owner should ask Boardwalk if they have a good price on a set of take-off GTO rims. They fit and look great on a 599. Taz Terry Phillips
Yes indeed going to Tennessee. However while the owner is in the car business he has never sold any of the Ferrari models that are in his collection! A true 'collector'. Spring Time in Maranello; Lars any chance you will visit soon for a photographic update on the latest Ferrari products? CH
Yes, I´d like to go there in the near future (May or June probably), especially since the FF should be in production by now. Should be interesting to see it in all the different colour combinations! Ciao, Lars T.
Red GTO that was part of a drive that I went on this past Saturday. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dylankingphotography/5688304637 http://www.flickr.com/photos/dylankingphotography/5688300457 http://www.flickr.com/photos/dylankingphotography/5687542391 The sound the car made when it flew past me was nothing short of incredible. Even with the sound of a LP640's V12 with open exhaust valves merely feet behind my head.
Well, I´m happy to add to my previous response that I´ll visit Maranello on Thursday and Friday next week and will visit the Mille Miglia and the Tribute in Buonconvento/Tuscany on Saturday In Maranello I should be able to see several FFs, as it should be in production by now and I´m curious if the 599 GTO is still being built. And I certainly wouldn´t mind catching one or more 599 SA Apertas too Ciao, Lars T.
That´s a good possibility - or alternatively maybe Blu Abu Dhabi? Might be a custom colour too, of course. Ciao, Lars T.
