    Just wanted to apologize to any and all drivers at the afternnon parade lap/s Sunday, whose enjoyment of their driving experience was in any way negatively affected by myself not adhering to "Parade Lap" rules. I was driving a white Testarossa. I was admonished by race track officals & removed from the course......I was with my Japanese girlfriend, who confused me,because the Japanese word for "race" is "parade".....Mark

    Couldn't have been too bad as I didn't hear any buzz about it at all today. What did you do (or did they say you did)? Assuming you were flying around the track passing everyone?

    On a side note, I saw your car and it was cool.

    I saw it happen... it was not too bad. Just a case of late braking, you did a great job getting back on track as did the cars around you by not freezing up and losing control. Too bad your laps had to be cut short.

    Had you been on the track your perspectives (those above) might be somewhat different.

    Those were some risky moves around unsuspecting drivers, many of whom had little or no training of how to manage their cars on a track.

    Apology accepted.

    Hey Red Head Seeker: Are you based with Ferrari of Silicon Valley? Someone was telling me the only thing that happened was what you described but was a guy associated with Ferrari of Silicon Valley not with the Ferrari of SF. Said there was two incidents actually by the same person and the last one supposedly almost caused an accident, probably just a scare.

    I was invited to the event by Ferrari of Beverly Hills. I was driving as I stated a white Testarossa. The apology was for my driving associated with the Sunday afternoon "Parade Lap". Amongst my numerous mistakes was being placed in the middle of the pack. I should have been the last car....let the field get a 1/2 track lead on me....& then have had the opportunity to be more "sprited" in my driving style without having negatively affected any other drivers track experience. After watching the 430's, FXX's, & F-1's.....tear up the track....The sirens sweetly calling me to "Go through the gears"......."Wrong Place"...."Wrong Time"....my fault....COMPLETELY!!!!.......Mark

    You should have told them that you like to really hammer it on the parade lap and that first or last is where you'd like to be. Not your fault those guys screwed you...

    Appreciate your support Vincent, But I need to hold myself accountable for my actions...A "Parade Lap" is just that.....a "Parade Lap"....a Ferrari & a "Parade Lap" is for myself....an "Oxymoron", but still not an excuse for my "Spirted" driving style...as I need to consider the other participants involved....first & foremost being their saftey....I wonder in hindsight if I was first to leave the starting line, if the track officals would have frowned upon, my four wheel drifting the turns & triple digit speeds down the front straightaway?!.....I can still hear the track offical....SCREAMING AT ME to STOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!........Mark

    4 wheel drifting? wow, that's gotta be a sight. i don't even see that at DE let alone a parade lap. glad no one got hurt.

    No;.....I REALLY LIKE HER!!!....she is very attractive & has a "Zen-Like" quality, that is calming,soothing... I need that in my life, as I tend to be "hair-triggered", she is already excited about attending Laguna Seca...."That's a Good Girl"!!!!!......Mark

    Now this is "INTERESTING"!!!!...Where were you postioned in regards to the starting line up of cars?....I was probably 14th or 16th. It seems as if "I" wasn't the only one NOT!!!...in parade mode....I'm very interested in your "parade lap" experience....was any passing involved?....or did you do what I should have done & either been first in line or last?.....Mark

    Ok thanks for the apology. I was on the track and you passed me on the third turn and I'll be honest I was furious. There were KIDS in some of those cars and I almost hit you. I was turning out wide and was shocked to see a car on my direct right (not left) all of a sudden. I almost hit you because I was meandering over there. I don't understand. It was the touring lap. Then I saw you go completely off the track in the S turn with three cars in the S turn with you. Then you didn't leave the track after getting black flagged. They had to pull that truck out to stop you and get off the track. Meanwhile every official was yelling at you from the side of the track. Guys, it really wasnt funny at all. I'm told you got banned from events and Infineo. They said you got the heck out of there after you got pulled. Even my wife and two kids were saying "what was that white car doing?". It was the first time I've ever seen a yellow flag. . . In a touring lap! Anyways I appreciate the apology. You should have saved that for the sport session right after. It looked like you went crazy there all of a sudden because you were driving like a madman.
