Would be quite a sight to see a 288 take part in the MM!

Love your blog. Love the writeup on the irrational purchase but have to disagree, not irrational at all. Was deciding on the OZ ultraleggeras for my 430 some months back but was bashed by my mates for putting on a set of al cheapo wheels. But I believe in gloss black it'd look really good especially with the center caps replaced to lambo.

Good luck and post pics soon when the wheels arrive.

    Cheers

    Just specced with Barry today!

Current production is slow as the factory is still producing along SLR line. Production rate will increase over the year especially when the MTC is up and running. It's going to be a phenomenal car.

China Super Bike Championship & Asian Formula Renault @ Zhuhai Circuit! Super thrilled, managed to get on the podium and win my first racing trophy in Formula Renault in my first ever race. Was cool though, got to race with Finnish, American, Philipino, Chinese, Macanese, Hongkong etc racers.

Wish I did better... but my race craft sucks so bad. But still I'm happy since i've only ever driven a Formula car for 2-3 months. The 250cc bikes are crazy fast though... you gotta have some serious balls to race those monsters!

Chose elite volcano orange. It's got a deeper hue than the McLaren orange which was also considered.

Thanks man, I heard you are getting one of the first Macs.. so jealous!!

On the Yamaha... you and me both, believe me. :D
I spent more time looking at the grid girls than I did on the race data.... I mean, who cares about the race data when you can ogle at girls all day long, right?

Don't you think that girl in black on the right looks a little like Rachel Kum though.....

Hey Derek! How's the matt red scuderia rims buggy? Its impossible to miss around town! Have you gone over to the dark side yet? :)

Thanks mate, I had great fun and it was cool going wheel to wheel with these career racers.

My mates were supposed to help me take some pictures of my first ever race, and when I went through their camera... no surprises, 99.99% of the pictures were just girls, girls and more girls.

The car i saw in Hong Kong was volcano orange. I think that may be the same car coming to Spore. Good choice.Getting the sports exhaust? If you just spec your car, you should also be among the first few.

Yes, getting the inconel sports exhaust. *crosses fingers* on allocation...

    Specs as follows:
    - Volcano Orange
    - Sport Exhaust
    - Wheels Standard 5 spokes painted alloy
    - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
    - Carbon Ceramic Brakes
    - Polished Silver brake calipers
    - Leather Saddle Tan
    - Leather Stitching Mclaren Orange
    - IRIS Upgrade with satellite navigation & meridian surround sound system
    - Parking Sensors (Front & Rear)

Might not be in sg for the preview, damn!

The sports exhaust is on allocation? They did not tell me that when i spec my car. The demo car had a black leather/alcantara interior.

No la, was referring to allocation slots.

Yes, alcantara interior is nice but difficult to maintain.

The cf luggage used for speccing is quite special compared to normal online configurators.
