OK great, because I know 022 had the Rial later wheel so that car was probably the cutoff!

Emilio, I have 2 "name your price when you are ready to sell" offers. Which have been revisited each year. They are beyond the sub 500k

    Peter,

I have no history on this car other than I was sent this picture.

My daughter's car is still being restored. Completion will be August.
(All numbers so far match the last 2 digits of Vin for every panel we have pulled of.

Roy if it helps you I just sold 1120086 to Germany and the number was just over $400k. That was an older restoration done circa 15 yrs ago, and even then not nearly the standard of what you have had done with 1120194. Agreed, that number you are covered for currently is significantly under-valued for your particular cost-no-object totally restored LP400.

A big part of the price increase in $ is that the classic lambos are global commodities thus kind of an edge to the sinking $.
I know how painfull it is to have to change $1.50 for getting 1 Euro last week..

for Europeans perspective, the CT price in the US is going down, that is why you guys are seeing the prices going up fro the $ perspective.

If things keep on going the way they are, investing in classics exotics may be vastly superior to US real estate :)

    :)

Have the increase in prices, just reflected the decline in value of the Fiat currencies ?

The increase in prices from classic Lamborghini cars, have outpaced the decline in the value of the USD.

It was not long ago, you could buy the best Countach cars, in the U.S., for just under six figures.

In the U.S., the RoW dd cars, had asking prices from 125/150K.

At the same time, the RoW dd cars, were even less money in Europe.

    The Miura S, was a 150/175K car.
    350GT - 90K.

On the flip side, it is unfortunate, for the buyer of a modern production exotic. I remember, when a 'new' 2001 360 Spyder, was selling for 300K. Some owners had interest in exchanging an F-40 for a 'new' 360 Spyder - or vice versa :D. ...ouch.

Correct, one of 32 built, 30 were raced, two extras from the factory. This one never raced as well as it has been re-fitted by the factory with Glass windows instead of the plastic race fixed windows.

All three cars, the countach, SE Black as well as the GT-R owned by the same person as of a few weeks ago..and all three as well as a few others in his collection are for sale..

Call me if anyone has intrest in them and I can put you in touch with the current owner.

I hope someone could possibly answer this question ....

    (maybe Joe could)

With overall production of the history of the Countach (all years included)
being low (total production) ...... Here is the question :

With collectors all over the world .... (no names needed or location needed)

How many countaches did one collector own at one time ?

    thanks

A few years ago, I had two at the same time.

In addition, it is somewhat unusual, for an enthusiast, to go from a Countach to a Diablo, and return to the Countach. The Diablo was tame :D.
