Hi guys just a quicky, do any of you know how to remove the rear grill in the pics below?? i want to polish the exhaust that is visable behind it so it would really help if it was not there Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pretty sure you'll have to take the rear bumper (tail lamps etc as well) off to get the mesh plate out. (Which is held on a 'surround' type plate screwed into the rear bumper from behind). Rear bumper removal will need the wheelarch liners, diffuser etc to be dropped as well. Hope this helps? Cheers, Al.
thanks mate, yeah it helps me decide that it is staying put lol i'll take hannah to work today and see if she can get her little hands in there some how
all in good time i can't take any afters yet as it is not finished, i am just heading out now to go and spend my third day on it, i'll post a couple of teaser shots tonight
I really think the heat discoloration is normal and will return.... The offshore boat guys fight it, on headers all the time....maybe some help in that industry for the problem???
erm i don't think that the best option lol thanks mate, yes it will come back after a while but the car is goin in a showroom so it just needs to look the part and not going to get to hot Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
that pic above was meant to show that i found a way to polish the exhaust but it has not come out to well, it was very simple, all you need if you want to try it at home is some micro fibres, some autosol and a young lady with small hands to reach around lol Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i wish i did get a little video of it being moved out of the garage though i will try get some more pics today when it is moved into the showroom next to jenson buttons old porshe gt and the buggati vayron
When you say its going to a showroom, do you mean its for sale? If so can you get the owner to contact me
The interior on J. kay's car is green (see green eyes reference in his song, Black Devil Car). It's the only Enzo in the world with a green interior.
I'm pretty sure Nic is this car's detailer, and detailers are always very protective of car and owner information - so asking would be futile. But when it's in the showroom, someone will be able to identify it and I'll get the serial number then. How are you doing, mate? I hope all is well. J's not as popular here in the states as he is in the UK, but when he bought his black Enzo, I bought the Black Devil Car single (a very catchy tune, even if you don't know that it's about the most beautiful car in the world).
Where have you been? I bought a Giallo fly BB512 a few months back, there were a few issues with it but all sorted now, there is a thread about it.
Thanks for the comments guys hi, i have pm'd you for you contact details, He has said he would be happy to contact you, not this time sorry, it is usually Lamborghini's that i do for him hi mate, you are quite right there is a level of client confidentiality that comes with the job, the owner on this occasion actually told me to use pics of the car for my website etc... but i just have to wait a couple of days before i can tell you all who he is, i'm not 100% sure why myself at the min though. My guess is because he buys and sells and also collects so i think it depends witch category this car falls into?
Wow, that's awesome! Congratulations! Can you tell me the serial number? I remember when you were in that accident and you thought you wouldn't be able to drive a three-pedal car. This is great news; I'm very happy for you. Can you post a link to the thread? I don't want this one to go more off topic than I've already taken it. Hey, Nic... I'm more interested in the serial number than anything else, but I understand and respect your obligation. I hope you get to drive it before it goes to the showroom.
i don't think i will be doing, 99.9% of the time my customers just pass me there keys but this one i have not had the delight to drive or even move which i count as driving anyway, eithen if it is just to use as bragging rights with my mates lol is the number you want the one on the left hand side of the engine bay? if so i will look through my pics i might of took one you had some very interesting facts on jay kays car too, am i right in thinking there is only 2 black enzo's in the uk? that is what i was told anyway,
That number in the engine bay is good enough for me! I believe there are more than two (possibly as many as four), but I'd have to check.
