My new 458 is already at the dealership. Hopefully getting it on Friday. It's being lowered by app. 1,5 cm and I'm getting distance rings 1 cm. Car is black with black leather/alcantara racing seats interior, yellow stiching and big yellow stripe on middle seat. Carbon of course. I will also paint the wheels also in black with yellow rims. Will post pics then... Can't wait to.....
Congrats! That is a fast delivery, I remember when you were asking about a black 458. Not sure about any yellow on the wheels? Maybe the calipers in yellow but no yellow on the wheels except the center cap with the prancing horse. Can't wait to see pics especially those racing seats!!! CH
Saw my car today at the dealer. Nearly fainted.... such a beauty, especially the seats came out unbelievable. Took msome pics with BB, but want to post better ones after picking it up. Dealer was amazed about the yellow stripe on the middle (racing) seat leather/alcantara. Think I made the right choice. Car has been lowered 1,5 cm already with distance rings 1 cm, looks 'soooo cooolll'. I think about maybe changing the rims to the 20' sport ones. Pics coming soon...can't wait
Very stealthy quite like the spec. Love to see some interior shots when you take delivery, the yellow on black leather and alcantara must be something beautiful to look at.

Thanks BUddy, just came back from a spin in downtown, never saw so many photographers after it. But again this engine................... awesome strong. Much better than my previous 430. No comparison:
Nice car, very nice yellow stitching in the inside. A beautiful black and yellow flow, inside/out, great taste *Thumbs Up* The only downer in Europe is that you can't get away with a No-License-Plate in the front, and unfortunately Ferrari did not seem to have left a real spot for the Oversized-EU-Format-Pates in the front, never mind intended to The predecessors had a license plate spot, so why not the 458 Italia??? What I do not really understand is that motorcycles are allowed to ride around without a plate in the front, but cars NO - They MUST have one. I can understand this law for Daily Drivers and other Vehicles (Big & Small) since they are the majority, but they can pass a No-Front-License-Plate-Law for the Super-Car-Minority, which are really a lot less than motorcycles Or at least a law that allows Sticker-License-Plates like back in 1960s . . . The options you have chosen created a great looking 458! How comfortable are those racing seats compared to the (daytona?) seats used in your 430? CH
The racing seats are almost as comfortable as in the 430, no complaints. I am sure the daytona ones are more comfortable, but for a Ferrari..... In this seats you don't feel the curves at all as this vehicle goes around the corners really like a Go-Cart. Amazing.. My first impressions from today's driving: no comparison to the 430, not much slower than the GTO, drove already a few times with one. Of course GTO has extreme power, but I think technicwise the 458 is state-of-the-art anyhow. Best car ever build by Ferrari. Will take my babe to the Autobahn soon, see how easy I can break the 310 km/h with my previous 430! I love this car it is simply awesome!!!
