I'm looking at getting one for helicopter flying. They seem to have the same features as the Bose but at a cheaper cost.

I'm curious what people say about them.

I've always used the David Clark headsets.
They work well for my needs.
I know it is old technology but it is what I'm used to.
They seem to last forever - I've had mine since 1994.

I absolutely love my Zulu headset. I was curious to see what changes they have made to the new ones because the old ones are fantastic. I also have a set of Bose headsets but I prefer the Zulu so my wife uses the Bose. My son wears the David Clark in the back so we have many major brands represented! I have to admit that my Lightspeed Zulus are my fav! You won't be disappointed.

Thanks. What makes them better than the Bose and the DC?

I think the ANR works better and the mic sounds clearer. Plus they just plain look cool! :D

Sounds good! I ordered a pair a few nights ago. I can't wait to try them out when they get here!

I'm not trying to change the topic of this thread, but has anyone tried the skycom or skycom II headsets from aircraft spruce ? http://www.aircraftspruce.com/menus/av/headsets_anr_acs.html

I use a plain ole 13.4 DC headset for myself, but am interested in buying two inexpensive ANR headsets for my passengers for when I give rides. I researched them a little and the reviews seem pretty good, just thought I would see if anyone here has tried them....

I've used Bose X and Zulu and Zulu is a much better product IMO. Very comfortable, whereas the X makes the top of my head hurt after an hour.
