Nice pics, I see a Porsche there also. Good to see everyone 'getting along'.:eek:

The blue colour on your car looks stunning. :):)

Looks like the front nose lift system on the Lambo is worth its weight in gold too. :D:D

Although the white colour is not as impressive as the other SV colours I have seen. :):)

    so did I

"The advantages of the flat-plane crankshaft over the cross-plane one can be summarised as follows:
A flat-plane crankshaft is lighter than a 90-degree, or cross-plane crankshaft, and, having a lower rotating mass than the latter, provides sharper response as well as allowing higher maximum revs, useful when seeking higher power outputs. Another advantage of the flat-plane crank is that it allows more efficient exhaust manifold design."

    Hi,

Around 10 years ago I knew a guy who owned a diablo (when it was the current car). He was 21 and lived in Smithfield. I once *****ed about how much my insurance was costing me, he quite rightly replied "do you have any idea how hard it is to insure a diablo when you are 21 and live in Smithfield??". I asked him about it, the car was insured for $500k with $20k excess and $15k pa premium!!

BTW he was not a drug dealer.

    That is amazing.................

to know that he is not a drug dealer. :D:D

But seriously, amazing stuff! Kudos for him getting insurance on that car, I called when I was 24 in regards to insuring a $100K 348 and they all told me no chance until I turned 25. :):)

I only called the "normal" insurance companies though. I know there are other avenues to take. :):)

If you can afford to buy a $500K car, then $15K insurance is a small price to pay to be able to drive that car on the road. :):)

Do you know what car/s he drives now? :):)

    Smithfield ??!!

    not a drug dealer ??!!

he was a gun runner then .... you only resort to being a drug dealer when you are a failed gun runner in Smithfield (I lived down the road at Liverpool :p )

Thats the one. Their family own a blind company that is very successful. They lived in a modest house in Smithfield and spent all there money on fast cars. He also had an Evo that he did targa several times in as well. He and his brother were actually very nice people and down to earth!
