It's great to see so many bros this Sunday morning meet, hope we can do it more.
Likewise Harold, good to finally meet you! As always, ECC beckons for you car lovers. Just drop me or Tim a pm/sms when you are ready.
Alex great to see you bud. Next round with the new front end! Cant wait! hahaha thanks bro. ya bro. jeep chee have really come a long way. hahaha mate... your car is absolutely stunning in the flesh. thanks mate, at the moment still confined to track days and sunday morning pratas as family duties and errr ktv evenings fill pretty much everything else. hahaha. will definitely join sometime though bud.
Was just talking with another guy and realised that the above name is really appropriate for the Sunday prata sessions at Big Splash in the morning. So anyways. A standing catch up for whoever can make it. The last Sunday of every month will be the official Supercar Sunday gathering where hopefully all will be able to make it to hang out, chat about cars etc and make new friends. Details are: Timing: 7.15am to 9.00am last Sunday of every month; Location: Big Splash prata joint. Park cars outside the Prata place (right near Old Town Coffee/7 Eleven) In between the SMF guys or a few of us at least (usually just Smoothie, Toto, SBBB and me) will always be there every Sunday unless we are at the track. Please do feel free to join us!!!
Hahahahah....geng!!!!!!!!! Anyway, the high pitch pubic hair pulling exhaust screech has caused damage to my earphones and you are therefore liable to get me a new one... That's impossible la...How can that full tank spacecar be faster than the naked exoskeletal?!?!?! Sure bo?!
I'm still fairly skeptical about it. It's been around the net, but that doesn't say much. http://jalopnik.com/5801794/mclaren-mp4+12c-fastest-around-top-gears-track
So I take it that for the month of May, the date will be 29 May. Note it down in my calender liao........... :-D
not sure whether 1.14 is true but the mp4-12c could use brake steer to put lots more power down through a bend… braking inner rear wheel more entering and outer rear wheel more exiting... must be the ecu reading off steering angle, individual wheel brake force/spin and lateral g… then applying just the right amount of brake force on the selected rear wheel... i believe there's no equivalent; even an lsd helps only exit. the r35 could prolly match it on exit but understeer considerably (unless front lower control arms have been installed) entering a corner. the way i see it, the mac, stock to stock, will dominate sepang the next couple of years. so who here will be 1st to bring it to track?? taxi ride please
Mmhmm, indeed. Only thing that could probably take such technology on would be sheer downforce by a Formula car or a Radical or something similar. Perhaps four wheel steering?
and I will shove the decibel meter up your backside it does, and it is.... haha. but at part throttle it is very sedate. Only at full throttle does it go mental. Amazingly practical yet awesome sounding exhaust. Problem is at cold start up it wakes the neighbors.
Guys. The usual Big Splash thing this Sunday. Wanna try and take some good shots of a variety of cars so have asked VASG and BMWSG as well along. Do come down to give more ferrari representation! Audi get all the 355s down!!! Try and come early so we can secure all the parking outside Mr Teh Tarik for a great shot. Usual details: Place: Big Splash outside Mr Teh Tarik Time: 7.15am to 9.15am Date: this Sunday
Would love to but I'll be far far away in exotic car heaven aka London . Will let my fellow 355 bros know about it though. BTW, just realised that although there are not many 355s left in SG but since just about all are in the hands of itchy enthusists, you do indeed get to see these cars on the road quite often. For that matter, ECC/FOCS is swamped by 355s . Wish I could say the same about the 3x8s.
