It looks very "busy" to me...? At first glance I thought it was just a California with a bad body kit. Also, I must be looking at too many Porsche's lately because when I saw the back plate I thought it said Superamerica 4S rather than 45. Very busy indeed. Not a fan of the color or the painted wheels either..I was hopping this project would have been a little more 'custom' than this. When i first saw the pics this AM, i thought it was a regular Aperta...
I think the car looks amazing! The blue color is stunning, it resembles the SA Aperta but also resembles the Superamerica. Is it an engineering marvel like the P 4/5 and P4/5C, hardly, but I still like the looks of it. At the end of the day, Peter Kalikow more than likely doesn't care what others think about it, which is the most important part!
Wish I could have a 45th anniversary Ferrari built from the first one I bought. That would be nine more years for me. Very pretty car and that retracting CF and glass top is pretty ingenious. Does not dump the contents of the open roof on you like the Superamerica does. Taz Terry Phillips
IMHUMBLEO, I think the 599 looks best in the GTB Fiorano Suit or the GTO Racing Outfit Greetz, Joseph
I wish I could hear from an Aperta owner about their feelings towards this. And I think Ferrari have done one HELL of a job with this car! I'm in love.
