I'll play Devil's advocate here: This is all my opinion and I could be wrong, but all I believe is that the picture is a real picture, but that is all. The extensive corrosion around the gauge bezels, and even on the speedometer face under the paint are evidence of a car that is not well cared for. It appears to have been parked/stored in a poor environment with very high humidity and high heat, as that is what causes this kind or corrosion. I can't imagine an owner so anal about keeping the miles sooo low would store a car in such conditions to allow such corrosion. If the interior gauges look like this, than I cringe to think about the condition of the rest of the car. Secondly, the pushed/distorted leather behind the speedo (which means this is an '88 or '88 1/2 model year) evidences the removal and re-installation of the gauge. Evidence of removal and re-installation of a speedo showing such low miles is evidence of odometer tampering imo. (Why would a speedo with such few kilometers need repaired????) I could be wrong, and I'm not trying to pick on somebody's car, but my gut tells me that those miles are far from real. I repeat, this is all IMO.

    You ARE wrong.

And posting such a thing w/o knowing and seeing is all but stupid. IMO.

    No corrosion (!!!). Dust.

I wonder why so many people are jealous about that car ?!!?

A silly man from Belgium, (still Belgium around...) offered 100.000 € this week !!!

    Why not 50 ?

    5 ?

Best, I give you my wife, AND the car ?

    ;-)

Real good sense : let the potential buyer decide.

And do not insinuate that rust is on alu e.g. !

    Pls come and see it.

It would be a pleasure to share the Passion w/ open minded and well oriented people.

    ;-)

We all know aluminum does not rust (defines as iron chemically becoming hydrated ferric oxide), and nobody said it did. BUT aluminum does corrode.

Here is a link so that you can learn about a common form or aluminum corrosion:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galvanic_corrosion

Surely someone involved with classic cars should learn about how most metals (including aluminum and magnesium as commonly used in old exotics), can corrode in certain environments and how to prevent that corrosion.

i did see an 1987 QV injected about 700-800km for sale last week end. But i beleive it is advertised as well on the internet. I saw it on Ebay I beleive. It is in NY.

The story has it that the guy does not want to put ANY mileage on it so the car was trailed at the event but I saw it driven on site from road to park .
I have to say that when you have a car with break in miles you got to feel bad adding some.
I did not verified the story but the car had some original warranty paper on the windshield. It is JLA12322.
Asking is a the top of US injected but at least this one is legal in the US.

Patrick, one of my employees had seen a black with gold wheels Countach w/wing coming off the new Super 7 extension in New Milford/Brookfield. Took a right off the ramp and headed straight up Candlewood Lake Rd. Not extremely clean aka driven.
Does Phil's car have gold wheels?
    Anyone we know?

Yes he does. inj QV with US bumpers and wing. Now there are quite a few Black with gold wheels in this country... but his car is clean. So we may have something else here. Unless we know what specific model its hard to tell

A couple of years ago I did see him driving in Danbury. I will assume it was him until one of us see the car again.
