    Hi everyone - I just picked up my first Ferrari - a 1993 348 TS from a guy who brought it over from Europe (Holland). Its amazing. The Car was one of the 30 Ferrari cars ( of the 51 collected) that was supposedly owned by the dutch real-estate agent Harrie van de Moesdijk.

    Kroymans picked many of them up and my seller purchased from Kroyman

    Next sunny day = pictures to post. Stay tuned

    My impression in feb 2008(approx 14,5k km on odo, asking: 55k euro):
    - 7 shades of red;
    - questionable service history (only 1 service was mentioned in 2003 with 10k km);
    - shortened gear lever (why should you do that).

    Here you can find some pictures before vdM bought it:

    (notice missing decal (type) on back lit, respray?)

    Collection was quite impressive, some pictures of the collection:

    re the question from 348Holland..

    - The service history I received includes the major work done in 07 and all the tests and validations as it crossed over into Canada at the 20K marker.
    - shortened gear lever - no longer from what I can tell. Its standard size now.

    Has al this been done in 2007? Then this is another car, shouldn't have the same serial nr. I'm sure I saw the car end of february 2008 in Holland (at Kroymans), made a post about my visit in the dutch section. Then saw the service history (only one major); a look at engine compartment made obvious that it hadn't been serviced for quite some time. Last pictures on the mentioned website date from april 2010, the car was spotted in Zandvoort at the circuit.

    Thanks for the feedback and help so far. As a new person to Ferrari you and the others have been terrific.

    A major was done in 6 05 2008 by Kroymans so your right.. work wasn't in 07, but was in 08.
    So likely when you saw it in Feb of 08, the car was not as in good shape or maintained as it should have been.

    I plan to do have an engine out for belts, water pump etc. the car has 30K and I've read that engine out/belts should be done at 50K or 5 years.. I was thinking of engine out this fall OR perhaps next. What do you think ?
