Good news. I spoke to Wayne yesterday and CCC has been renewed for ninety+ episodes.

 

That's great news I think I've seen every current episode at least five times. The Dino in the tent is my favorite.

 

9 or 90? 90 shows would cover the next five to ten years, not sure any production company would be willing to sign on for that far ahead. The show is great though!

 

I believe the actual number was 94. He said it was a four year agreement.

 

They must really be ramping up production! Good for him, hope the quality stays high.

 

New shows in Sept.

 

Just wonder were they are going to find ten major auctions a year to cover. Or I wonder what new direction they will take the show.

 

I do like the show. I have always said though that, if I see that guy hovering around while I was bidding on a car, I would stop bidding immediately. He makes a tidy little profit on every car he sells in auctions and I would immediately think I should just find a barn find myself and have it restored myself and save the money.

 

Ya, I love the Dino in the tent episode. The mouse poop blowing out the exhaust never gets old.

no no no no! Speed would screw it up somehow, and for a lot of folks Speed is on a different higher, more expensive CATV tier.

Now he has to find 90+ cars that will keep OUR interests.

There are a lot more than 10 major auctions a year, that won't be an issue.

? But that's what he does, and that is what he is hired to do, make a profit for people.

 

I would like to meet Wayne someday...

From the show you can tell the love and affection he feels for cars...

He seems like the kind of guy you could hang out with for hours, have a few beers and enjoy swapping stories back and forth.

From what I have seen a very nice and down-to-earth guy.

I can't say that I "know" Wayne but we have chatted briefly a couple of times at the Greenwich Concours and at his Spring Open House and that is my impression as well.

 

I too have talked to him at the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance and will probably see him there again shortly.

 

I can't say that I know him well but he is a warm open guy with a passion for cars.
