OH FUGG! That's one messed up Lambo. If the driver got away unhurt, that'd be a miracle. Seriously, look at the damage. I wonder what was involved during the accident....speed? incompetency on the part of the driver? recklessness? fatigue? It's sad to see another LP go to the scrapyard.

 

Holy crap; that LP looks dead. Doesn't look like it can be repaired, even. Looks very much like it rear-ended another vehicle... or a wall. Glad to hear the owner is OK, but was anyone else hurt?

 

Witnesses on other forums say the car was speeding and lost control for no apparent reason. I choose to believe that there may have been a technical failure as no one should be driving that recklessly to cause a car to be torn apart that badly on public roads in peak hour.

Sad part is that exotic car owners and Lambo owners in particular seem to be sterotyped as being wealthy with an inability to figure out that there is more to life than showing off on public roads and recklessly endangering not only themselves but other innocent road users. In my case I am poor and have to scrounge every last cent together to afford a second hand example, and only look forward to experiencing it fully at Sepang.

Either way hope he is going to pull through.

My friend was in a car on the opposite direction of the road when the accident happened and she said the door of the LP flew over and landed not far from her car. I heard from Lambo that the driver is ok but heard from someone else that he is injured. I hope the injuries are not too serious.

This model of car has appeared in a movie before hasn't? Was it the Bad Boys movie?

I have this thing about wanting to collect cars that have appeared in movies. Esprit was first.....next will hopefully be a 308. But yet to find a good one.
