+1 but the unique dynamics of Monaco do offer surprises on occasion. Nice to see them trying no matter. A competitive attitude is a plus! Be nice to see a different team win again.
Then what is? With two very average drivers they are doing better then anyone expected,in qualifiyng (where the car's speed really shows) in particular. One can only wonder how well would they do with Kubica driving......
IMO Monaco is still the best drivers circuit. A great driver can pull a dog car up the grid. I dont forsee great things with Renault there.
I am not so sure that renault has a bad car, I wouldn't put them with mclaren and redbull, but they are as good if not better then the ferrari and the mercedes. I think the issue for them has been the drivers, Kubicas injury really hurt this team. tires and strategy will play a big role at monaco this year, anything could happen.
Exactly. Renault's exhaust system will be even better with the higher ride height they will be forced to run. The Renault also has fantastic mechanical grip as is good on tires. The other dark horse is MB. Their car has the shortest wheelbase of the field and the oversteer tendencies of this car will play very well to Monaco.
I've also been reasonably impressed with young Vitaly - Seems to keep his head down and get on with it..... He can earn (or lose!) big credibility this W/E..... Pastor M will have at least on "big one". Who else will **** up? Cheers, Ian
