So your saying Vettel will win it then...? Or are you sitting on the fence for a change.. Button wins this there you have it, the rest cause carnage.
From what I gather Seb was concentrating more on race set-up/evaluation than outright pace this session. Still nice job by Fred but the only thing that counts on Sunday, where I fear RB will win again.
We usually see this magic 1/2 sec appear from Redbull right at the last min when needed, the others will be now aware, not sure they can do anything about it but one can hope.
Very interesting couple of sessions. As postulated earlier, the SS's don't seem to be the expected "single lap" tires - I was surprised nobody tried 'em earlier though - Seb ran over 20 laps on 'em, and I think their "durability" caught 'em all out...... They're like a bunch of sheep - "We're not gonna be the first to try 'em", then they find out they work just fine...... I can certainly see a two stopper being viable - At least for some of 'em. They're always whining about tire life, and then they do just fine...... Cheers, Ian
Ferrari updates include a tighter rear end package. It certainly looks much better. MB changes include a Mclaren style intake just behind the main intake. I assume this is not only for cooling but for additional air to the beam wing Image Unavailable, Please Login
Monaco is always a bit of a crap shoot but I'd say he's the favorite. Things will be clearer after Q though.
Yes agreed. Qualiflying does matter here, so I think Vettel is a safe bet, but if someone anyone, can reel of a storming lap in Q3 ... we may get a race.
I love watching this race.....err qualifing. After the Q sessions unless there are weather or crashes not much seems to happen. ***preying for RB wheels to fall off***
Monaco should never be confused with a real GP That being said it is the one track where going off has a cost. In that passing happens only in the pits the more stops the greater the interest. Hence the tire situation becoming critical.
I like Lewis Hamilton for the win. The Ferrari was set up more as a 'one lap special' with that loose handling style they used. Can't imagine it surviving a race around that place! CH
The poor guy can't catch a break! - He trundles around "midpack" - Pretty much the limit of the car if he wants to bring it home, and gets lambasted...... - He puts his balls on the line and takes it by the scruff of the neck - He's being irresponsible & is gonna crash!..... Cheers, Ian
What can I say? I was encouraged to see him laying it out this morning but I can't see ANY driver sustaining that style around Monaco.
Well FA hit the barriers last year......even the greatest driver who ran from LH makes mistakes. http://ndtv.f1pulse.com/photogallery/race_galleries/alonsos_monaco_crash/photogallery-photos.aspx - poor guy.
