    Verell here at Unobtainium Supply.

    It'll be better than new.
It was marginal plastic to start with, I have seen New In Box that had small cracks started, unused.

    Your Dad had it right.

Moorespeed in Austin has the new one (or did) if you want to put that one in and keep rolling, while yours is out...

We could start an Fchat Loaner Program, and send it around!

Mine broke about 5 or 6 years ago and I only just now replaced it this month with a used unit from T Rutlands.

Super common problem with 308's. People get in them and hit them with their knees or legs quite often. They are not very strong. A lot of them are just glued back together.

I've been restoring them since 2002 when I broke my Wiper stalk off. As you can see from some examples in this thread:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21548

I have molds for the stalk pivot ends & knobs, and tooling to make new contacts if necessary. For prices see the catalog on my web site.

Also, I can offer a very competetive price on the reproduction switch that other dealers are selling for around $1200.

Not as feasable as it sounds, different years had different wire lengths & contact pinouts. Also, some models had a twist knob on the wiper as well as the headlight stalk.
