Man, that is sooooo coooool:)
Does anyone remember the other thread like this that had a link to an Ebay ad with the 308 go-kart that once belonged to Tori Spelling? We also posted some other pics and vids in that same thread. If anyone remembers it, can you please post a link here for me. I am trying to find the vids of the 288 go-kart. I cant find them on Youtube, not sure if that is where they linked from. Thanks in advance.
These are too cool! I always played with the idea of buying a batch of street legal gokarts (yes, they exist, with number plates and all) and giving them officially licensed supercar shells! Would be a killer hit if the price could be kept sub 10k $...
Here's an electric Ferrari kart, reserve not met at $14,800 :O http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190533539426&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT#v4-37 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That would be a HIT alright!! Do it, so I can buy some for my kids! Looks pretty good underneath, well made me thinks. I dont know if it's worth $14K+ though.
Never realized there was such a market for those things. To me...the best 308 go kart is called a Fiat X1/9. Can be had for around a grand for a good running example, fun to work on, mid-engined, all Italian, seminal Bertone styling (same designer of Coutache and tons of others), and handling, well, like a go kart. Yes, I agree! I have had 4 of them. You can have a lot of fun with them without putting out a ton of cash.
