On Sunday June 5th, there is an Italian car show at the Volo. Ferrari and Lamborghini cars will be given a featured spot for the show. The Ferrari Owners Club is taking this chance to get together and I would like to invite all Ferrari and Lamborghini owners to join us at the Volo. I think the show will be really nice as there will be plenty of other cars AND there will be a blues band playing from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm. I stopped out at the Volo today and the show area is fix up and will offer nice photo opportunities. The car show will be around the side of the Volo and in an area that is normally closed to the public. There will be signs where to park. We plan on being there at about 10:45 to 11am. I hope there will a number of Ferrari and Lamborghini owners that would like to spend a few hours with us because I ordered dry weather and plenty of sun! If you would like to attend, post here or send me a PM so we can save you a parking spot. Cheers!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
People can stay as long or as short as they want. I think FOC will be there for about 2 to 3 hrs. It will just depend on the day and people. The band goes until 4:30pm.
I'll be there. Just can't make up my mind whether I should bring my Batman, Terminator or Miami Vice outfit?
I'm not sure either, but I do know that if you bring your bunny suit, the one with feet and floppy ears you can have a photo in the Bugs Bunny car.
Not to jinx myself, but I actually think we can make this one! Time to load the family up into the family truckster (the 911) and see you on Sunday! PS Will I get a moment to myself in reflection by the Miami Vice car? It's my favorite show..........ever.
Here is a teaser of what is going on. Also, the weather I ordered is on the way!! 80 and NO xxxx! (Can't say it, don't want to jinx it.) Image Unavailable, Please Login
If anyone is going to Volo I would love an opinion from them on a car that is there. It is a 68 Dodge Dart ( I know it is not a Ferrari ) gold with black fiberglass hood in the museum for sale. Just hoped for someone take a look and send me message or can post on this thread. Thanks in advance.
Okay, we will keep an eye out for it. Here is the "fixed" notice. FOC was the group that got this show started. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is in the museum somewhere, although I know you have never owned a Dodge. As a kid I dreamed of two cars to own, that Dart is real close to the first, so after that, maybe the Ferrari
I am just trying to decide if it is worth a "see for myself" trip, anyone going and see it and have an opinion for me is welcomed, heck figure a Ferrari guy would know quality when he sees it
First, it's just a high priced hot rod. No provenance of any sort, not an accurate GTS or "Mr. Norm's" car. (Grand Spaulding's 440 cars were badged GSS.) If you are aware and comfortable with all that then let the build quality speak for itself. I would very carefully scrutinize anything offered from that seller.
That is good advice when buying a used car from anywhere or anyone. Now...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
