I am looking for an Ansa Sport exhaust system for an '84 BBi. Does anyone have such a sport system from Ansa for sale? Thank you.

Just quiet by nature! Does your Boxer have an Ansa Sport system? I'm looking for something a little louder than the stock Ansa system now in the car, and prefer to stay with Ansa if its Sport system would sound better.

I have one but there are different versions. Your car has 512 headers if it has the stock 4 can system on it. Im guessing there are two versions as mine is an ansa sport for a 512 with 365 headers. The 365 headers have much larger secondary pipes and they enter the muffler pipes on a different angle than the 512 headers which have small outlets. Mine was dealer installed when the car was new and im debating a Tubi but I would have to replace my headers to accomodate the tubi.

I replaced the Ansa sport mufflers on my BB512i with a single can muffler from Bell. It mounts up to all the header outlets, including the smaller ones that some aftermarket systems merely block off. While not OEM, it sounds and look great and is much lighter than just one on the Ansa cans. At least than $2,000USD, it is a bargain compared to the other stainless after market mufflers for Boxers. www.bell-silencer.co.uk

The Ansa sport of today vs the Ansa sport many years ago is different. The metal today is of a different gauge but I believe the design remains largely the same. Nuvolari makes fantastic equipment as well for a reasonable rate

That's for a 365 only to replace the 6 tip system. The 512 version is very different.
