have a good rest and get well soon. Give barry a call when you feel better. Heard the car may be around a bit longer pending shipping to the next market.
I have begun to love the carbs on my Esprit although I was initially irritated with it getting off the line even when taking off slowly when I first had the car. But after much driving aimlessly around the country, and learning how to work the pedal and clutch, I can now get it off the line quite well, and when I gun it, the turbo spools and the pull is beautiful. Carbs have this sense of rawness that I am learning to appreciate now. The car is raw. No ABS, no power steering, carbs and turbo. Feels like a really large go kart. But with aircon. Gotta love it!
hello everyone, i just came back to spore after studying in usa. been to a couple of cars and coffees and other similar meets there. hope to get to know some people in the singapore scene! is there any event soon?
Welcome back. Which state were you in? Some of us meet up on Sunday mornings @ the old Big Splash along East Coast.
Btw boys, Pagani is coming to a new dealer near you soon Start saving now! Price about S$3.5million & hopefully, one day I can afford a COE unit
From what you guys have been saying about him, the question should probably be "How many do you think Mr. Pagani can roll out for him to sell!"
Melvin may be very good with customers but it's 3.5M SIN$ a POP. Insurance alone will cost at least 35K with 50% NCB Depreciation per year, the cost of a Maserati
http://www.businessweek.com/investor/content/jun2011/pi2011062_946842.htm This might be able to stir in a few "newbloods"
I think that the Pagani whilst clearly one of the few hyper cars out there, will have a very limited market as the price is truly for a very select few with a very very heavy wallet. Having said that, if anyone has the network/database of people who will be willing to dish out that money, Melvin has it. And he will sell far more than the previous agents for sure....not that the previous sale record will be hard to beat...
Was in Illinois, quite near Chicago. The harsh winters meant that I only see exotics about 4-6 months max out of the year )=
My guess is 3-5 for the first pop then a couple more for the region. Unfortunately, I still haven't found the chance to visit Pagani recently
Ah yes, I have an old pal in Illinois. Don't worry, "exotic" cars are as common as cabs these days over here
Dude, if they start counting the billionaires, then Malaysia holds quite a fair bit U guys go for bigger figures
