Chris, I received the watch today...earlier than expected. I love it...although it reminds me how thin my wrists are ... grrr.

Anyway, the watch is just what I was looking for.

In a time when I have had nothing but troubles with customer service, it's been a pleasure dealing with you.

So for anyone needing a watch, try Chris @ VTC first...very responsive to questions and so easy to deal with. I probably could have purchased the same watch locally...but dealing with Chris was so easy!! I will certainly contact Chris for any future watch purchases.

The New Green Pathfinder from Casio

    PAG110C-3
    $250
5 in stock, but it's advertised so it should sell quickly

    From the Casio press release

Leading Casio’s “Go Green” spring collection of stylish watches with high functionality, the PRG110C-3 incorporates the company’s Tough Solar Technology which increases battery life through the regeneration of electrical power from sunlight. This technology decreases battery consumption associated with traditional watches, helping to cut down on the more than three billion batteries thrown away each year by Americans, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, which increase the presence of heavy metals in landfills and cause toxic contamination to the environment.

Staying true to the core Pathfinder features, the PAG110C-3 provides consumers with advanced outdoor capabilities. Featuring a digital compass, altimeter, barometer and thermometer, this model fits the needs of the serious outdoorsman. To address everyday needs, the PAG110C-3 has five daily alarms, a stopwatch and world time in 30 cities. The watch is also water resistant up to 100 meters and low temperature resistant, making it ideal for extreme climates.

In addition to the environmentally-friendly self-charging, tough solar power, the PAG110C-3 comes in recycled packaging that reduces the carbon footprint, eliminating the use of energy and resources in its creation.

“We’re very excited to welcome this new eco-friendly timepiece to the Pathfinder line,” said Shigenori Itoh, vice president of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “Casio is a company dedicated to supporting eco-friendly initiatives and we are very proud to introduce this solar-powered watch in conjunction with the celebration of Earth Day.”

Available in an earthy shade of green, the PAG110C-3 stylishly coordinates with an outdoorsman’s surroundings. The PAG110C-3 is available exclusively on Amazon.com with an MSRP of $250

Looking for something cool and REALLY different?

    $199 for crystal dial models
$249 for crystal dial and bezel models

    New technology from Phosphor watches

Phosphor reveals the new Appear watch line, skillfully blending design and technology to craft the ultimate fashion timepiece.

Driven by Micro-Magnetic Mechanical Digital (M3D) technology, the Phosphor Appear watch utilizes miniature-sized rotors adorned with Swarovski™ crystals that revolve to reveal numerical or chronological information. With each minute, an electrical pulse generates an electromagnetic field that changes the position of the crystals on the face of the watch, to elegantly display the passing time, while producing a distinctive sound unique to the Phosphor Appear digital watch line.

The basic "time" mode features a 12-hour display, with the hours positioned above the minutes on the face. The watch face also offers a "seconds" mode and "off" mode, showing an entire face of crystals with no time display.

    Features:
    Case diameter: 43.8mm
    Overall case thickness: 14.5mm
    Water resistance: 5 ATM - 50m
    Display: 12 hour only
    Functions: Time, Seconds, and Off

And the New E Ink technology is really cool!!

You've never seen a digital watch quite like this before.

A standard numeric digital display in one mode, a graphic hour clock display in another, and ability to switch between white-on-black to black-on-white time display give this digital watch a style all its own.

They are very nice watches. I have a tri-retrograde in my store and it would keep it for myself but it is a little large for me. The current bid is an incredible price.

    W O W!

We took it in the shorts on this one, it was my fault for having the auction end on Memorial Day weekend, should have scheduled it to end on Tuesday. I'm not gonna hear the end of it :(

But you made one FChatter very happy. I just happened to check Ebay on my phone while driving back from the Indy 500 and there were 24 seconds left in the auction. I actually pulled off the interstate and upped my bid in time to win it. At least I helped you get a little more for it.

I've just picked up a Thunderbirds Navihawk for a steal. The back, which usually has the logo on it (like the Blue Angels) has been worn away, and there are some nicks in the bezel. I haven't found anything in my searches for a resource that may have spare or replacement parts for this watch. I'm wondering if Citizen would be able to replace them if I contacted them? Any suggestions?
