Looks like the guy wants to cross over the road, and builds up to much speed on the downhill slope and cant stop.. so he tries to jump over instead of get run over.
A bit harsh... Until I watched it full screen, it looked like the wing got him in the rear to me too... But it was the camera on the roll bar.
It looks like he has no motive except, "Uh, yea, I'm gonna see if I can jump over this F1 car as it goes by." Just for fun.
Does it matter? I watched it on my phone so it looks like he hit the wing on that small of a screen. Moron got hit and debris flew.
Didn't intend to be harsh at all. I watched it, and it was obvious to me that he did not get hit by the wing. It seemed particularly obvious during the slo-mo part near the end, but maybe that's just me. No offense was intended - just thought you didn't watch it.
