That truck/camper combo is just awesome......for those days you REALLY want to get away from it all, including the present.

Why, oh why if you are going to do that, you wouldn't make a 904ish car?

I agree. That thing just oooozes class.

As neat as cars from that era look, I have often wondered how (bad) they actually are to drive. I've never been behind the wheel of one.....anyone have any experiences they can share?

Torn on this one - It has a history in its former form, then they resto-rodded it (admittedly, very beautifully done), but with an automatic, and oriented toward drag racing. So much potential; so little judgement.

I'd feel compelled to put it in a vernacular the guy would understand.

    "IDIOT" is three syllables.

    OH MY GOD.

WHY would you do something like that to THAT car? What a beautiful body on that TR3. Go cut up a damn Chevy S10 pickup or something if you want to make a drag car. A freaking automatic? And then top it off by hanging a Ferrari badge on the front....if ever anyone deserved a swift kick to the balls, it is this guy.

At least it wasn't some rare, special-bodied factory variant, and just a one-off customer body. (As far as i know anyway)

If I had tons of money laying around, I would buy it along with another TR3 in need of restoration, and use the mechanicals from that to return this car to its proper state.
