Disagree here - Button drove a fantastic race, no question. If they find that he caused the accidents with Hamilton and Alonso - which I doubt - the FIA can't say "oh, you caused 2 accidents and normally would get a penalty, but you won the race, so it's okay".

If Button penalized that would give Schumi a podium finish. Except it will be too late for him to actually get on the podium and sip the bubbly.

2 DRS zones are too much IMHO... a lot of artificial passes.

Ruined. Not a fan of DRS.

Hamilton will say he was completely at fault.

Michael and Nico now tied for points.

As for DRS, this is definitely one of those occasions where DRS allowed a passes that may not have happened in previous years. No worries!

The rain and tires had more of an influence.

Come on Florian, you know I did not mean it because of the fact that he won. I just feel if there was penalties they should have called it during the race and not after the race to screw it up for the fans.

Button will get penalized for the Alonso bit. There is no way LDM is going to be silent on this if he isn't.

Oh, and WHAT did I say about Mclaren having this race? Their race-pace here is much much better than RB

I think you are correct unfortunately - varsha just said button under investigation for taking out Alonso but we will have to wait to see what the penalty if any and we know what that will be....

Who's "he"? Do you suggest that Hamilton will take all the blame to save Button's win, or will Hamilton try to save his own backside by blaming Button?

It has been replayed a few times now here Button v Alonso close call but Button had the inside racing line, a racing incident IMO.

Button v Ham, Button reckons he didn't see him.

Whatever the case IMO Button deserves the win and if it gets taken off him, in my mind he still won it, and deserved it.

Are you just trolling? Or do you ever have anything to say to contribute to F-Chat or this section? No wonder people are leaving the F1 Section, with Trolls like you.

Being relegated to the tail end of the field seems enough punishment.

I understood your post in way that you didn't want a win taken away by a penalty. I agree here with you! Penalties absolutely need to be handed out, but really during the race.

    Not from Alonso's perspective.
