I am selling my 355 Challenge. I am asking 49k USD or best offer, and as You can see it is an excellent example. This is the lowest mileage 355 Challenge car I know of. Timing Belts etc.. done just 100 miles ago by Dealer. Car was brought in by Risi and was raced in Argentina prior to local owner using it on track days. Car has 11678 KM or 7256 miles. Car will be on a fresh set of Hoosier stickers when You receive it. Runs great clutch, brake discs etc in good order. Comes with some spare brake discs, spare wiring harness and spare extinguisher bottle. This is a Bill of sale car since its a race car. Feel free to ask any questions and I will try to respond. Never had any major damage although it had a tire rub on the door. I didnt fix it as its minor but easy to repair should You wish. Would also consider cool street car in trade up or down. I am busy running SuperCup this year so am not driving it at all...
Thanks for helping me pass the word.

That is a first, reverse lockout plate. When tracking the car You never use first after pulling out of pits and You drop it into place to prevent grabbing first or reverse by mistake.

The car also has a very trick ABS shutoff/reset system in addition to ignition switch and pushbutton starter instead of the standard key ignition below the shiftgate console.

Let me know if that answers all Your questions, it's a very very cool car, handles like a dream and the sound is intoxicating. As I said, I am running Porsche SuperCup this year so I will have no time to drive it at all.

Thanks for the info. No standing starts, I suppose. Have never used that on my race car. Cool car!

Would you be willing to sell your challenge spoiler? Do you know where I can purchase one?

Price reduced to 46k and car has 2 sets of challenge wheels. Brand new sticker Hoosiers. Just ran a leakdown and it has 2% leakdown or less with 185-190 lbs compression in all 8 cylinders.

    The car is sold.

Very frustrating. Had lots of inquiries wanting detailed pics, did that. Some wanting Leakdown and compression, did that. Chased down all service docs and even the "Unobtainable" certificate of origin from the Ferrari Factory. Car was low mile, beautiful, got all race history, owner history, service history and Certificate of origin. Sent pics and copies of docs left and right. Then the folks that inquired would disappear(not all mind You, some were very genuine and a sincere thankd for Your interest to those genuine parties!) but most were tire kickers asking for gobs of time consuming info and then nonresponsive after going to all the time and effort to give them what they wanted. Finally just sold it at Auction because I was sick of jacking with it. New owner got a great car at a great price that is fully documented.

I wish I had it right now and I would donate it to the Dan Wheldon Auction raising $ for his kids that Graham Rahal is putting together.

The documentation is key, new requirement as of July. If a car is going to leave US it must have MSO or title. If not it must have origination docs from the factory and a notarized signed original bill of sale from each owner or it can never leave. Just a heads up for those of You who may buy from US or are trying to sell outside US. Street cars that are titled are not an issue but race cars, another story. Hope that helps someone in the future as they buy a race car.

Hey, in the FWIW department. I looked at your car. I lusted over your car. Damn, I hate to read that you auctioned it off. But I didn't call you because the timing was not right.

So it goes. I think it is called the circle of life, Simba! :)

No doubt, thanks for the note here. I had 2 very interested parties, 1 in Germany and one in Co at the time. Very good guys both of them. Unfortunately I had already put it at Mecum for the weekend and the gentleman out of Wa that bid on the car I had given my word to that I would sell it even though it was quite a bit lower than the offer from Germany. The gentleman from Co was going to come look at it the following weekend if it didnt sell so that was that. The good news is I was so tired of messing with it, he got a great deal. It was a awesome car. Only one I know of with those low miles and all docs. The ONLY one I know of that had the real original certificate of origin from Ferrari, thanks to Risi for that. A friend of mine local here considered it but never made an offer, as I told him after he bought the Milka car, he could have had it for whatever he offered, I didnt care at that point. Anyway I always get rid of things I am not using, if it's not in use, out it goes, makes room for the next piece in the circle of life.
Next up another 24 hours of Daytona and likely some more IMSA SUperCup for 12, God willing of course...;)
