I agree... although I think it was one of those situations where you have two stubborn drivers, both determined to occupy the same space, neither willing to relinquish it, even if the other guy will be occupying it too :)

One of those situations where, in retrospect, I wonder if both drivers don't wish they had done things a little differently. Well, Hill at least.

This guy is flat out no class, a BBC announcer said it best when he said the Monaco race would have been better if Lew-ham wasn't in it ! I agree of course, then I saw the press conference connected to Sunday's GP, evedently Lew's car has a blind spot in front of it ! Go figure, what an A$$.

Q: Having spoken to Jean Todt, and the FIA, do you agree with the penalties now?

LH: I have seen the tape now, and the view that you have in the car is much different than the view from out of the car, or what other people see. Still I would say that in such occasions it is not always just one person to blame, unless you fully ram into someone’s back. But of course being the car behind, also I would say I was more to blame than the car that was in front. It is not even easy to see the car, as there is a blind spot as well. Then of course drivers would defend their positions, too. I was rather thinking that perhaps it was more like 80-20, or 70-30, me being more responsible for the fault. Either way I felt that for my relationship with the other drivers, and mostly because of the things that I said afterwards, I felt it was important to correct that and apologize for that.

Excuses. Who cares about percentage. There wasn't any gap. Thats the reality. Problem with him is, he thinks he owns the circuit.

Puts a smile on my face, hopefully it stays that way for Sunday. The BBC boys say Macca is doing a rain dance praying for a wet race, nice !

Hamilton and team-mate Jenson Button were unable to get involved in the Montreal pole fight, and were 0.5 seconds and 0.8s respectively off the pace.

"We are just very slow this weekend. It appears that the other guys have maybe made a step forward, but I really don't know," said Hamilton.

Wow ! exciting race ! Too bad what happened with Jens and Fernando, a shame but it looked like fair racing to me.

    --------------------------

Once again Lew-Crashington was a blockhead, he's a broken record lately. Nikki Lauda had a comment,

But Hamilton was the target of stiff criticism from three-time world champion Nikki Lauda.

"He is completely mad. If [governing body] the FIA does not punish him, I do not understand the world any more," he said while commentating on the race for German broadcaster RTL.

"At some point there has to be an end to all the jokes. You cannot drive like this as it will result in someone getting killed."

    I agree Nikki,

So, you think Button will be punished ? I thoroughly enjoyed that little get together.

What about when he ran into Webber ? Why is it always Lew/Crashington who does this ?

Hard to defend the guy I would say, feel free to do so though...

How blind to reality do you have to be to watch Hamilton get a run on Button, start to pass him and then get driven off the road, and say it was Hamiltons fault. :)

Come on Pete... think this one through buddy. If that sort of thing is the following drivers fault, then all any F1 driver needs to do is wait until the guy who is faster than him has his front wheels past your rear wheels, then just go off line and drive them off the track, and you're free and clear.

No passes in F1 would ever happen.

Lewis isn't always right (the Webber incident was his fault, and as he said after Monaco, if he feels he makes a mistake, he will admit it, and he did). But he ain't always wrong either. If you look at the replay, calling that Lewis' fault is way outside the bounds of reason.

After Monaco he called the other drivers "stupid" , is that what you call admitting he made a mistake ? Or was it when DAYS LATER he said he MIGHT be 70 percent at fault ? Is that what you call admitting you did something wrong ?

Face it, the dude is a joke, today he looked like a complete moron behind the wheel. He thinks he's a modern day Senna ? Hardly.

It's not a compliment that the collective of this forum has group-requested you to confine your whackiness to this particular thread.

On the one hand, WDC winner, hot girlfriend, considered one of the very best in F1, makes millions each week.

On the other, a guy ostracized on a Ferrari forum for unwarranted bashing of a rival. That takes some serious effort :)

It is not Hamilton that is the joke :p

I didn't get that memo Mikey, I was "ostracized" was I ? LOL.

I would hardly call the Lew criticism unwarranted Mikey, your hero has run into 4 different cars the last 2 races, one can only wonder what he'll do for the next Grand Prix.

EDIT: judging from you post above you seem to just make personel attacks and avoid the question, lets review shall we,

Sure seems that your hero has a hard time admitting he screwed up. After the race in Canada today he said this regarding his collision with Webber which spun the Red Bull,

"I went down the inside, he braked quite early, then I was on the kerb and he kind of pushed me over and we just touched.

"I think he had left me enough room, but I touched the kerb and understeered into him, so I apologise if it affected him."

Yes Lew, I would say it affected him somewhat, Crashington just can't say he screwed up and man up, can he ? He always has to insinuate dual responsibility.

Look at how (not) seriously you are taken by the members of this forum. You are considered by most to be a troll, and have your own thread (bridge) under which to reside.

    Just how it is :)

other drivers can pass without throwing all their chances away. Yes its great that he gives it a go, but he still has not learnt that a risk everything move does not give results in f1. He needs to watch some old footage of Alain Prost.

Yes, I saw this, it would seem that Lew isn't as loyal to Macca as the press portrays him to be. The TV shots of him in the Macca pits pretending to be happy for Jens were pathetic, clearly he should find another home. I hope to god he stays away from Ferrari but with Alonso just signing a long term deal it's not likely Lew would be welcomed to the Scuderia.
