u can detect it when it scatters off the cars in front of u also so even though the radar detector gets a reading, it doesnt mean the target is on you. there are definitely radar detector detectors out there, if i recall, i saw a radar detector detector DETECTOR somewhere before haha. that gets pretty ridiculous
