You mean he has a COLLECTION?? that sounds like a lot! Likely to be filed from A to Z. SF...I think Minas should be under M... My 2007 599 is on 25k / 50k also. Insured value about $650k
Spaing, did you try them on the track yet? I was under the impression that they are a road tire and would be no good on the track. Have bought a set though for road use. Unfortunately can't use Hoosiers on the SL so am looking at alternatives given the high cost of Corsas.
I really dont like chris harris's narration is like a grandma without teeth..but nice mag and cars...what to do. http://youtu.be/YhR2lXJNg3M Well at least he drives the GT2 like a man and not just poseur.
haha..you are quite right. The GT2RS is awesome, a real man's car, not like those flappy paddleshifts and nice hairpin drift.
Well, at least there's this yellow 458 that did a Harmann kit? How about asking the Cali section & see what owners say in foreign land? We heard some non-stock Californias in Italy few weeks ago, brilliant stuff. I'm going Kreisegg for the shot.
Ok lah. Show you boys. I am officially a Lambo owner again & all black. Looks like I'm destined for black cars......so officially I'm the devil now. Not sure if you can call me a patient man but the story goes..... on the morning of 17th December 2010. I received an sms from my mate about this black Diablo for sale on Sgcarmart while I was overseas. I was jubilant because as far as I know, there were only five known Diablos here. I test drove the Gold 6.0SE but found the Murcielago better & it was exported to Malaysia. Then the red one in Lengkee, the black one owned by an SQ pilot which was exported, the champagne #15 which went on to be facelifted (sad) and finally this mysterious black one which very few people have ever seen. So, it has to be this. Anyway, I checked in. Called the no. who's the secretary and after some communication, I confirmed it without seeing it nor a test drive. A day later, the price went up by over 70% & non negotiable. To be fair, the advertised price was too cheap but I hit a wall, there was no way to contact the owner & even the service department of Lambo doesn't have his contact because the car was always sent in by the driver! Why am I so desperate to have this car? The secretary knows nothing about this car & there are so many variants of Diablos so with the logcard, it says SV & manufactured in 2000. This is not an AWD but rear wheel drive & of course manual This is the last of the true Italian Lamborghini after Audi tookover & the factory was puttting everything that's left to assemble & sell it. Each car is hand built so none have the same specs & performance, every car varied a little. It is the last of it's kind. A RWD V12 5.7L SV, SuperVeloce (you pronounce the last "ce" as "che" cos Italians pronounce "e" as "a") meaning superfast. It has a VVTI engine, uprated, facelifted cabin (inspired by Bang & Olufsen's sleek LEDs of period), upgraded brakes, 3pc polished lip wheels & black centres by OZ racing (Damn! this are the kind of wheels we lust for 911s), ABS but more importantly a fixed, open headlamps rather than the flips of yesteryears. (same lamp as the then Nissan 300ZX) Only the post '99 cars have it & this is a wingless RHD. Total production cars are just 100+ & less than probably 10 in RHD with this configuration. Total production of Diablos are 3000+ The factory produced the GT after this, a race sanctioned LHD only model, 83 made. Then the final 6.0VT, facelifted by Luc Donckerwolcke under watchful eyes of Audi. He would go on to design the "new" Murcielago. The Diablo has the signature of old master on the body, Marcello Gandini. So, I put the word out to anyone who could get me the deal but the owner would not budge. I waited on the line patiently, several cars came & seduced me. GT3/RS, WRX type C, Evos, 911s, 575 & even a silver Mondial Finally, 6 months later. This SV was traded in for the Lp670 SV Needless to say, I must have it. Like what Jeff said, "Hotel California" hahaha Oh, actually. I have not even test drove it...... but this is probably the most expensive COEd car ever transacted. I must be nuts..... OMG Jon, she's gorgeous, utterly brilliant! I know at my age I should be liking the 670SV, but this is jaw dropping..Damn I'm a sucker for yesteryear's cars!!
Guys, i'm thinking if i should update the tired cabin. Alcantara in the centre seats & partial door panels etc? Should I do color contrast stitches? I will keep it as original as possible & no diamond cross stitches this time. ex-owner had this car for almost 9yrs & total mileage is under 10K km. Paint is immaculate. Am thinking if I should add the wing but it looks like a classic 911 as it is now. I would like to add the SV stickers which were free options. Perhaps do a discreet matt black over the shiny body. tyres are '04, like new but i'm thinking of Corsas on back order Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
How about doing a drive this weekend and letting us see the car first?? CONGRATS, you just had to get it, didn't you?
