I was trying to figure it out... it's not a 599.

    Might be a maserati.

Crash happened June 13. The guy was driving very hard, weaving in traffic and lost control. Pavement was dry at the time.

    Definitely a 456. Looks like he had a typical fish-tail out of a turn..then couldn't regain direction.

That pavement wasn't dry. The camera didn't provide much of a clue as to how it happened?

The accident happened in the outskirts of Buenos Aires (San Isidro/Martinez) at Libertador Avenue. About 100 feet behind the camera, there is a fast sharp turn. Evidently he lost control when turning left. The average traffic speed on that avenue is 30 mph. Several witnesses estimated his entry speed in the vicinity of 80-90 mph.

The driver of the small VW car is a young lady and she is in critical condition.

I hope that she will recover to the fullest :)

And to the Ferrari Driver, wet muddy pavement and driving at a spectacular speed inside a city. That video just showed what happens when supercars are hostages of the wrong hands *Head Shaking*

Extremely sorry to hear that. God it's irritating when idiots like this drag our reputation as owners through the mud. My thoughts go out to the young lady.

    Ouch. Hopefully nobody was hurt.

"Spectacular" is not what I would call this.

From what we know now, the driver was a mechanic testing the car which belongs to one of his clients.

    Classic !

Ferrari is out of control, and is spinning slightly
    anti-clockwise before impact.

The small struck-car sees the Ferrari and
begins avoidance by steering to his right.

The nose of the Ferrari and the small car come together.

The inpact to the Ferrari is very far ahead of the center of gravity.

The Ferrari spins voilently anti-clockwise to a point of rest.

The Ferrari leaves four (4) classic yaw marks - one from each tyre - before impact.

The pre-impact speed of the Ferrari can be determined + /- 3 MPH
    from the video,using the standard
    accident reconstruction formulae and photogrametry.

    Hope nobody was hurt.

I would like the remains of the Ferrari........

    Scott
