    Hello everyone,

    This is my first post here on this forum and, having listened to my parents very well in the past, it should be a proper introduction.

    I'm Rob, 42, and I live in the northern part of the Netherlands.
    Ever since highschool I've been a big fan of Ferrari's. Up to today I've never owned one but that might change in the nearby future.
    I am seriously considering of buying a 458 Italia.

    After owning some other not-so-standard cars (in my country) in the past it is time to make my lifelong dream come true.
    I've owned all 4 types of BMW's M3, a TVR Sagaris and a Porsche 993GT2.

    So this is it for now. I'll keep you posted on the 458-progress

    Springbok? What's your link to South Africa? I had part of you as a carpaccio last week, very nice. :)

    Welkom Rob, don't forget to join the Dutch section. Great set of friends and enthousiasts over there, very active community both on the road and on the forum.

    Congrats on the 458 - an excellent choice. Very curious to see what specification you will go for.

    I've lived in Cape Town, SA for 2 years. 2005-2007
    I consider it my home country. I absolutely love it. The country, the people, everything!!!
    I also spend my holiday there once a year.

    I lived in Zeist for about 2 years when I was young and went to school in DenHaag. Loved my time in your country and return there for work sometime.

    Cool, very lucky to have lived in Cape Town. It was Dodge City for me (Johannesburg 1998 - 2005)! I will never live there again but I had fantastic times.

    We haven't seen you in the Dutch section yet, Rob. Come and say hi.

    Nice to hear! Glad you enjoyed this funny little country - I think it has quite a lot to offer. It's funny coming back to Holland after 13 years in the African jungle (both urban and nature). It's amazing what people complain about! :)
