Sorry I meant which car "invented" the roof wing , the Japanese ( # 3781 ? ) Jota or Wolf's Bianco LP400 ? that's what I meant ... pics of 3781 ?
Wolf's Bianco LP400 was delivered in the spring/summer of 1974. Miura 3781 was wasn't "Jota-ized" till late 1975. The time-line is clear.
You could give a camera to a 3 yr old... that car just does not have a bad angle. =) Any idea where it ended up?
Still sitting... haha. As Joe knows the interior and mechanical is all original. The car underwent a cosmetic restoration about 6 or 7 years ago and still has yet to be buffed. (Talk about a curing process) Vinny Russo from Lamborghini recently brought a few guys from corporate to see the car and they were shocked. I took a few pictures recently. I will post them up.
Recently got a Nikon and was playing around with some detailed pictures. I will take more next time I am in Palm Beach. http://www.themiuraregister.com/miura/register.php?id=681 Above is the history of the white RHD SV that was allegedly owned by Elton John. UK Registration Number RYY 161K. My father bought this car in January, 1976 (see story in the link) and the plate on it had been changed to NGM 100M and he owned it until April, 1978. It was white with gold wheels and sills with full blue leather interior, air conditioning and split sump. At some point after my father sold it the Registration Number had been changed back to RYY 161K. It was absolutely fantastic. The car was restored by Del Hopkins around 1990 and the interior trim was changed to white.
