After many years of waiting and yearning for a Ferrari, I finally got to pull the trigger for the 458. My previous attempts to get a Ferrari were futile as India did not have any authorized dealers. But the recent announcement of India's first official dealer at New Delhi was just what I was waiting for. Without further ado, here is my spec list :

    Exterior
    Rosso Corsa exterior
    Rosso Corsa calipers
20" Sport wheel rims painted grey (RMSV)
    TPMS
    AFS front light system
    Front lifter
    Scuderia Shields
    Int / Ext Electrochromatic mirrors
    Front/Rear parking sensors
    Rear parking camera
    Sports Sill Cover

    Interior
    Black interior
    Black carpets
    Red stitching
    Daytona Seats
Red leather inserts in Daytona seats
    Full electric seats
    Red seat belts
    Rev counter in yellow
    Dedication Plate
    Alcantara roof liner

Car will be ready for delivery at factory by December and with Air Freight, should reach by end of december or early Jan! Very excited for my first Ferrari!

what's the import duty? Thought it would cost more in India compared to Singapore but Singapore is still the most expensive unfortunately

In Brazil at present exchange rates the price for a 458 Italia purchase is about 1.000.000,00 USD or R$1.600.000,00 (Reais).

Abz, as per my research done here, people who got the gray painted wheels, had the exact same option code. Can anyone re-confirm ?

Those are the 20" Forged Sport wheels and the option code is RSFD

I think RSFD is the modis code for the US market and RSMV is the Euro code?

RSMV is the modis code for the 20" painted sport wheels not forged there is a significant price difference.

So is it possible to get the 20" sport wheels in dark gray non forged with RSMV code? I don't feel that spending more on forged rims vs normal rims is necessary for me, keeping in mind the use of the car for me. I would also presume from your reply that forged rims must be much more expensive as compared to non forged?

Im sure you can get the wheels painted in any color you want, it just depends what Ferrari wants to charge for it. But the forged wheels in the US are about 2K dollars more than the standard sport wheels.
