Certainly interesting stuff and I am sure you have seen it many times before.

Hopefully though, I wont be going down that track, because as I said earlier................I will do whatever it takes to keep what I have now.

If it means working 7 days a week again, not a problem. Id rather work hard through the bad times than take the easy way out and sell/fold.

Luckily enough for me, there hasn't been any bad times...............yet.

hope your right, but once a loan is in default the equity is very quickly eaten away via legals and default interest rates..
Lenders by law must sell a property as a lender in pocession, thus the resale figure is of the norm very low.
i don't know any good tac accountant that recommends property investment.
    how old are your properties?

Yep, they do. How do I know. I got burnt and bought one off eBay many years ago for $1000 thinking it was original (I'm a slow learner but it did include the jack kit as well :)). Also missing from that kit is the window winder which is a give away its a fake.

A few are new-ish, the others are old. Good depreciation on the new ones, the older one gets next to nothing and the latest purchase nothing. :D:D

Well you learn something new everyday..I know the Superformance ones were copies, but didn't know there were copies out there with Ferrari stamped on them. What's the difference between the fakes and the originals?
Also the 328 tool kit doesn't come with an emergency window winder.

Maurice, the firt two pics here are of the tool kit and jack kit I purchased on eBay. You'll note some of the tools have Ferrari on them. All the spanners have Ferrari on them. I do however believe the original kits didn't have Ferrari stamped on the tools. Someone like Carl888 or 360C will be able to confirm that.

The third photo is of an original kit. You'll note that in my tool kit I am missing the window winder and plug spanner.

The tools in the first picture look like the ones supplied with a 355 / 348.

OK, thats interesting. I guess the message is, DO your research before buying on the internet.

I did however buy my car and this tool kit before finding this forum. I've learnt a lot here and would not have bought either had I'd found this place before buying. Can't change history though. I still love my car albeit a steel pommie import dry sump. ;)

Horsey, can you post a picture of the QV toolkit please ?

I would like to get the right toolkit and then mount it correctly in the car because I can't find any bracket in the boot that a toolkit would connect to

Brett, for clarification, I'm talking about the tools only, the tool roll in your picture actually looks similar to the 308 style.
In a 348/355 toolkit the tools sit in blow moulded plastic trays in a leather "case".

    Brettski....

The toolkit you brought off the internet is for 308 QV onwards......the pliers are from a 328 kit though, as the pliers in QV kits didn't have the Ferrari logo on the handles...... Ferrari branded spanners started on the QV's....the carb cars spanners were branded Everest and made in India.....the 2v injected cars spanners were branded "Polytools" and made in Italy...

The jack kit "spares" fuse/bulb round container in Grey plastic started from 328/Mondial onwards....up to the QV's they used a Green/Black container.Other than that jacks etc were the same. UK/Oz and RoW Cars had the roadside safety hazard warning triangle...USA cars didnt......and USA market cars up until about 1979 had jacks painted yellow....

And I've told you before....I have the correct window winder emergency crank handle if you want it????

    Moretts,

Thats because UK/Oz and RoW Market cars didn't have a bracket. The Bracket/Strap was USA market cars only. I have an original 1983 MY year USA Market Factory Parts Manual and it is shown in that.....

My 1985 MY year Euro/Oz/RoW Market Factory Parts Manual doesnt show it.....and my 1984 MY Oz delivery QV doesn't have it either....

I have a spare "correct" 1984 MY 308 QV toolkit if your interested??......the 1984 cars were the only year in QV production that the toolkit had blue handled pliers by the way.......all other years were red handled pliers!!!
