Is BMW just upping the hp of the V10 via rpm's,cam's etc etc or slapping some snail's on?One of the biggest thing's I have alway's loved about M5's is it's sleeper mentality ie 4 door's does not mean I cannot SMOKE YOU!!

V8 twin turbo. We can look forward to 700 hp RS6 killers with minor modification :)

Ah that's right concerning the V8TT. One thing I have alway's loved about turbo engines is the simple mod's that can net one an additional 100+hp without straining the engine.

... those wheels probably negate its Trail Rated status.

2007 e92/335 with around 63K miles. Luckily I've only had one fuel pump.

Overall good car, but still despise run flats to the nth degree.

Right I'm experiencing a terrible squeal when driving slow, embarrassing and annoying. Twice I've had it looked at while at the dealer and its like they ignore it.

    LoL.

I love the wheels. They are not as large as a diameter most 'young folk' would opt for (19 or even 20in wheels!?), but they allow me to drive anywhere over NE roads without worry of potholes, etc. That and they are MUCH lighter then even the stock/OE 18s.

If I want I can opt to put on throwing star covers too at my leisure.

    I'm a big BMW fan.

    (4)- E36 m3
    (2)- E46 m3
    (1)- E92 m3
    (1)- E39 m5
    (1)- E60 m5
    (1)- 335I

I recently lost my E60 m5 to flood damage. Right now I'm driving another E36 m3 until the new M5 comes out.

    Cool stories guys, loving it.

Evo Magazine released official pictures of the brand new M5, in production form: http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/269011/new_bmw_m5_details_pictures_and_pricing.html

Didn't like the rear 100%, a bit boring, but maybe it should be. Can't wait to see it in whit and black. Love the brake calippers too. Interior a little boring as well - E60 vs E60 M5 had a clear difference in interior look and quality, don't know how this cars interior differentiates.

Hope they make a xDrive + touring version for those of us who get 4-5 months of snow! Would be the best car in the world.

I love BMW's up through the E36/E39 era; this is the first BMW since then makes me all tingly.

(well, the current-gen Alpina B7 is sweet too)

You should put some turbine covers on it.

I love the Z8! It's a shame current BMWs don't look that good.
