    I have been talking to my friend Flavio Briatore about attending Crescent Classic in September.

    When I talked to him on Monday he confirmed he was in the US in September and will attend Crescent Classic before he returns to Italy!

    Alain deCadenet and Flavio Briatore and Tom Hnatiw! Crazy year for crescent!

    Registration is filling up fast!

    Chris, I have always thought the best place to live in the USA would be KC: because of the close proximity of a major airport and the moderate cost of living there.
    But major airports notwithstanding, for me, Davenport Iowa would be the best place, because you are within easy driving distance to Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis, KC, Minneapolis..

    KC is good because you can drive to St. Louis, Tulsa, Ok City, Dallas, Denver, Wichita, but most folks would not care about some of those.

    That said, I would expect a man of Flavio's stature would need to be in a major business or media hub: the usual NY-LA-Miami locales.

    I've always thought about moving to Springfield or Bloomington-Normal so I could be halfway between St. Louis and Chicago. Or, I also wouldn't mind moving to Columbia, Missouri to be halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City. I like the idea of living in a smaller community and being within a couple hours' drive of multiple major cities. There are all kinds of places large and small in which I would like to live, but St. Louis is home, and I can't imagine straying too far away from it for some crazy reason. :D

    Anyway, I never thought I'd see Mr. Briatore in Arkansas- or even KC for that matter. :)
