it needs something under the hood that can really bite and the right exhaust for the styling to show up ..

Centre tip blown away but the left and right balls still there....
I mean, the round left and right exhaust tips...

To be honest, I can't remember how does the orig. R8 bumpers look like but I thought the front looks very aggressive, very "predator" but the side skirts are like a decade old.... maybe the unpainted look is the showcar for clients.

there is almost certainly a bodykit and modified pipes - standard on the r8 are side-by-side ... similar to a m5 ...

 

Actually, how do u guys rate the looks of the 458?

I'm still stuck in the era of F40/50 but I thought Jim's P4/5 recreation is wonderful but that was based on an Enzo so a little OTT.

I find the 360CS & Scuderia beautiful in it's own sense.

 

personally, i prefer the looks of the 430 ...

I much prefer the stock design. R8 is a pretty design in the right colours but looks a little too similar to the TT.

I find the overall shape of the 458 nice, except for some bits around the headlights. The F40, cs and scuderia are very beautiful indeed, not a fan of F50 though.

Speaking of P4, there used to be the guy in the US that made P4 kits. If I didn't remember wrongly, all you needed to do was to put in an engine and a tranny. Was actually interested and mentioned it briefly to Clive. Of course it'll not be LTA approved. It was called foreman P4, I think.

 

Let's set 16 Jul morning for a F-chat drive. Either local or speed blast you know where provided the lambos can squeeze thru those lanes.

 

I'm stuck in the P3/P4 era which are the prettiest cars ever built to me. Love the curves which the 458 does bring back somewhat.
